Maverick Nate is Bulbapedia's Editor in Chief, previously in charge of Pokémon Trading Card Game content for over a decade. He has been a part of the Bulbagarden community since 2007, currently spending much of his time researching niche topics within the Pokémon brand.

Friends of Malamar, what a Malamarvelous month it has been so far! As Editor-in-Chief, being able to defer all decision making to our Mega friend Malamar has been quite the relief. Its ultra-powerful mind was excellent for the encyclopedia work we take pride in at Mala....ahem, Bulbapedia. Consequently, Our Friend Malamar has returned to Lumiose City to rest its mind before the release of Pokémon Legends: Z-A and the return of that pesky Hoopa. Before we exchanged our au revoirs, we’ve been requested to communicate all the improvements Mega Malamar made in the past week.
