Specifically, this update provides buffs (⇧) for Garchomp, Ceruledge, Tinkaton, Trevenant, Darkrai, Psyduck, Charizard, Galarian Rapidash, and Comfey; while bringing nerfs (⇩) for Zacian, Blaziken, Mega Gyarados, Mega Charizard Y, Mewtwo (X), Glaceon, Scizor, Vaporeon, and Latias.
Pokémon TCG Pocket's next expansion, “Fantastical Parade”, is set to launch worldwide next week on Wednesday, January 28th at 5:00pm (PST). This expansion introduces Stadium cards into the game. Various in-game events to take place throughout the next month have also been announced.
The “Animated Pokédex” series of shorts is back for its fourth season, “Vibrant Moment”. Episodes will be released every Monday, Wednesday and Friday on mainland Chinese platforms such as Bilibili, Weibo, Douyin, Xiaohongshu, Kuaishou, etc. The series depicts the ecology of various Pokémon, showing a glimpse into their daily lives.

The first batch of Pokémon Horizons: Season 3—Rising Hope is now available for streaming on Netflix in the United States and other territories. This batch consists of 12 episodes and is available with audio tracks and closed captions in 12 languages. The opening theme for the season is "Evolving Again", written by Ed Goldfarb and Nataan Hong, with vocals by Haven Paschall.
Three new songs from “Pokémon feat. Hatsune Miku Project VOLTAGE” will be released in 2026, one each month in January, February, and March. The three new songs will also be featured in the “VOLTAGE Live!” show in Tokyo in March, for a total of 27 songs in the event's lineup.

This update, dubbed The Roar of Sea and Sky [Part 2], brings changes to the new Theia Sky Ruins (Kyogre) map, alongside the usual balance adjustments for various Pokémon, bug fixes, and Shop and Event updates. Specifically, this update provides buffs (⇧) for Inteleon, Ho-Oh, Suicune, Decidueye, Machamp, and Blastoise; while bringing nerfs (⇩) for Vaporeon, Dhelmise, Mimikyu, Miraidon, and Mega Charizard X.
A Holiday Campaign is currently underway in Pokémon TCG Pocket, where players will be able to buy Poké Gold at a great discount, and earn various rewards by completing event missions, and obtain a gift of Pack Hourglass from the development team. This campaign will run through to January 7th, 2026.
The English and other western dubs of the second episode of the third season of the POKÉTOON series, titled “Another Day with Gardevoir”, have been released on the official Pokémon YouTube channel. The next Mega Evolution Pokémon to join the fray in Pokémon UNITE have been revealed: Mega Gyarados will be available in-game next week from Friday, December 5th, while Mega Charizard Y will be available from Friday, December 19th. Both will be separate licenses to Gyarados and Charizard's regular unite licenses, and can be obtained via events for a limited time.
