Poké Fair exclusive scouts for Diantha and Iris (Champion) have returned to Pokémon Masters EX in a special Poké Fair banner. Latias is also returning in the latest Legendary Arena rotation.

Two recurring events are currently running in Pokémon Masters EX, with the return of the Battle Villa, and Champion Station: Unova Challenge. Also running for the first time is a new co-op event to power up Fighting Type Gear.

The producers of Pokémon Masters EX have announced upcoming events coming to the game alongside the start of the Villain Arc, the newest arc of the mobile title's main story.

Pokémon Masters EX has announced the new arc coming to the game will be the Villain Arc. The Kanto Chapter of this arc will commence on September 29, 2021. Before the main story begins, Villain Event Prelude: Looming Shadow of Kanto, the prelude to the arc will start on September 15, 2021, at 11:00 p.m. PDT. The Kanto Chapter will focus on Team Rocket arriving in the Pasio region. It also introduces the Dynamax mechanic to the game.

In the latest message to players of Pokémon Masters EX from Producers Yu Sasaki and Tetsuya Iguchi, a range of events and updates coming to the game in advance of the two-year anniversary at the end of August have been announced.

A new event has started in Pokémon Masters EX, the Rock-Type Gear Event. This co-op battles event allows you to obtain 3☆ Rock Gear, and will end on July 14, 2021 at 10:59 p.m.

To celebrate The Pokémon Company International's newly-designated Bidoof Day on July 1, 2021, Pokémon Trading Card Game Online and Pokémon Masters EX have announced special log-in bonus for their games. In Pokémon Trading Card Game Online, if you log-in from July 1 to July 7, 2021, you can receive a one-time gift of Bidoof-themed card sleeves, a deck box, and a coin. If you log-in to Pokémon Masters EX from June 30, 2021 at 11:00 p.m. PDT onward, you will receive an unspecified amount of free gems. UPDATE (July, 1, 2021): Players of Pokémon Masters EX will receive 400 gems for three days of logging-in between now and July 8, 2021 at 11:00 p.m. PDT.

Several changes major changes have come to Pokémon Masters EX with the version 2.10.0 update. DeNA has also announced a number of upcoming events for up to mid-July.

Four separate Spotlight Scouts for fan favourite characters from the Aloan region, including Lana & Araquanid, Kiawe & Marowak, Hala & Crabominable, and The Masked Royal & Incineroar, will be running in Pokémon Masters EX this month alongside the Town Square Street event. The event showcases each of these four Alolan sync pairs, with a special story when the designated event missions are completed.

The first-ever Legendary Arena boss, Entei, returns to Pokémon Masters EX this month. New Legendary Arena: Entei event missions are also available as part of this event, which will run until June 22nd, 10:59 p.m, giving you plenty of time to dive in and fight this fire-type boss before it disappears again.

The Two Champions Story Event is back in Pokémon Masters EX, and will run until June 7th, 10:59 p.m (PT). Participants who played the previous event can also still take part and claim the rewards for a second time. A Super Spotlight Poké Fair is also running alongside the event, featuring four fair-exclusive Sync Pairs.

Two new Galar region sync pairs come to Pokémon Masters EX with the game's Splash and Punch event, which began earlier this week on May 12th at 11pm, and will be running until the 28th at 10:59pm. The event showcases the sync pais of Nessa & Drednaw, and Bea & Sirfetch'd. Completing special event missions during the event will unlock special stories involving these newcomers.
