Japanese fashion brand UNIQLO has announced a new "Pokémon Meets Artist" UT collection line, for release starting later this month. This particular collaboration features a range of designs from two artists. Meguru Yamaguchi, a Japanese born and New York based artist known for his characteristic brushstroke style; and James Jarvis, a London based artist specialized in cartoon illustration, and who is best known for his work on soft vinyl toys.

A Poké Ball shaped charger, made by Anker in 2017 especially for The Pokémon Company, has now been recalled following two incidents where the device apparently spontaneously caught fire. While investigations by a third-party specialist firm were unable to identify a specific cause or indeed any flaws in the product itself, The Pokémon Company has apparently decided to play things safe, and is giving out full refunds to everyone who purchased the device.
