As announced at the end of May, Irida is making their Pokémon Masters EX debut today in a brand new Sync Pair together with her partner Glaceon. Irida & Glaceon's Master Fair Scout is available now, and will continue through until July 9th, at 10:59pm (PDT).

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet's Ranked Battles Season 7 has begun. This season, which will run through to June 30th, at 11:59pm (UTC), will follow Regulation Set C, which came into force at the beginning of April. Niantic has announced the schedule and details for the upcoming Hidden Gems season for the GO Battle League in Pokémon GO. The season will start on June 1st, at 1:00pm (PDT).

Niantic has revealed that the Tusk Pokémon, Axew will be the featured Pokémon for Pokémon GO's Community Day in June 2023. During this event, Axew will be appearing more frequently in the wild, with its Shiny variant also being available for the first time. Niantic has announced details for Searching for Gold Research Day, an upcoming Pokémon GO event running on June 3th, between 2:00pm and 5:00pm local time.

Niantic has announced details for Water Festival: Beach Week, a Pokémon GO event that will be held from June 6th at 10:00am, to June 12th at 8:00pm local time. This event will feature the Pokémon GO debut of Sandygast, the Sand Heap Pokémon, and Palossand, the Sand Castle Pokémon. 50 Sandygast Candy will be required to evolve Sandygast into Palossand.

Niantic has released details on Pokémon GO's newest season: Hidden Gems. This new season will run from today until September 1st, at 10:00am local time. Alongside this announcement, Niantic have also released details on a number of activities, bonuses, and events that will be running in-game in the month of June in conjunction with this new season.

A new version of Pokémon Masters EX, version 2.33.0, launched this week, ahead of today's debut of the first of two new Sync Pairs from the Hisui region, as well as the new Travelers from a Distant Past story event. The game's producers of have also revealed details on several new components of the game in their monthly message to players, along with information about upcoming Sync Pairs. The next letter is slated for late June and will include information about new battle content currently scheduled for release in July, as well as details on new Sync Pairs and events that will also launch in that month.

The official Twitter account for Pokemon Masters EX today tweeted a short teaser for the arrival of new Sync Pairs featuring characters from Pokémon Legends: Arceus. The Pokémon Company International has announced that its special Pokémon tour bus will be touring a selection of Smyths Toys Superstore locations across the UK between May 27th and June 2nd, offering a range of activities to entertain younger fans, as well as a selection of Pokémon merchandise for purchase including several exclusive Pokémon TCG products. The tour will visit Hedge End on May 27th, Milton Keynes on May 28th, Norwich on May 29th, Mansfield on May 30th, York on May 31st, Hull on June 1st, and Leeds on June 2nd.

Updates today on the Pokémon Trading Card Game's official Japanese homepage and YouTube channel have revealed a Wigglytuff ex, as well as a selection of fossil Pokémon and Art Rare cards that will be available in the Pokémon Card 151 subset that will launch in Japan on June 16th. In a shocking announcement, the team at Original Stitch, have announced that their company will be closing its doors permanently, with final orders closing online on June 11th, at 7pm (PST). This closure impacts all of the company's brands, including the popular Pokémon Shirts.

The second Pokémon Trading Card Game expansion in the Scarlet & Violet series, Obsidian Flames, has been officially announced by The Pokémon Company International. This expansion will be the international equivalent of the Ruler of the Black Flame expansion releasing in Japan later this year, including cards from that set, the ex Special Set, and the ex Start Decks.

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet today have received an update to Version 1.3.1. First announced on the Japanese official Pokémon Twitter account @Pokemon_cojp, and with an English announcement on the @playpokemon 15 minutes later, this update fixes multiple issues that were impacting players in invite-only official tournaments, including the Japanese and Korean National Championship Qualifiers, to repeatedly face the same opponents, have difficulties in exiting between battles, and be unable to view rankings.

Sygna Suit Cynthia & Giratina, who featured in the Sinnoh Chapter of Pokémon Masters EX's Villain Arc, are making their return to the today in a Master Fair Scout alongside the Villain Event re-runs from that arc.
