So I know that normally we have two versions when its a new generation but do you think that there is a chancewe'll only get one i mean there was a picture from somewhere that was showing the cycle of the games and it showed a box with a question mark and it seemed to be indicating only one. what do you guys think?

Most likey two verisons, since they will get more money if they did that.

there's always a chance for anything.

but... you want to know what i think, so i'mma say 2 versions. idk why they would stop doing so anyways.

two versions. Tradition is a hard thing the break away from. People expect it.

Just... what the... how the... BLLARRRGH!!

Yes. Two versions. Like every damn generation before it.

Two versions... it's god-damn obvious.

^What they all said. Udder-squeezing, anyone?

I'll only get one of the original two, though, like I usually have (Blue, Silver, Leaf Green, and Pearl; I got both Ruby and Sapphire). The third version is something different, so I'd likely get that as well.

I know that it has always been 2 even i think it would be odd if there was just one the thing is i just saw a picture from a link in a previous thread and it seemed to be indicating that there would be only a single version which i thought odd

Of course there'll be two. The whole point of there being two versions is so that players will have to trade between the two to get Pokemon that are only in one version and not the other. There being two versions is a major part of the multiplayer experience of the series.

Also, please use proper grammer next time, honey. Your run on sentences makes it hard to understand what it is you want to say.

There are some speculation topics that shouldn't be made.

This.

HEY GUYZ, I DON'T THINK THERE WILL BE POKEMON IN GENERATION V. IT WILL BE ABOUT SWORDS!111!

My opinion is one.
My opinion may change as more info is released however.
What is known now is not enough for me to believe it is a new Generation.
I believe this is just a game that is more closely tied to the main series so it is not considered a spin-off, but it is experimental.

You're right. New pokemon and various announcements about this being a new game and having a new region and a bunch of other new stuff isn't enough proof that this is in fact a new generation. Gee, how stupid we all are.

I'm not sure if you are being sarcastic, I apologize if that is offensive to you and for any other miss-communication that may have occurred.

In the case that you are not; I did not call anyone stupid and would appreciate if you would not imply that I have.

In the case that you are; A new generation is not defined by new locations, new game play, or new games. It is strictly defined by New never before Seen or Used Starters. Since we only have one new Pokemon revealed, and that is using the term new in a very specific way, it would be safe to assume that we do not in fact have enough information to say that we are to see an Gen V or any other set of new starters.

Of course, I cannot believe we never realized this. The only thing that can possibly confirm a new generation is the starters. Donphan, Snubull, Wailmer, Munchlax, Weavile, Lucario, etc. must have been flukes.

I assume sarcasm again, and point to my previous post for comments on suspected sarcasm.

In the case that you are not: I do not believe they are flukes, and explain below why. I am hopeful that you will realize why I believe what I do.

In the case that you are:
Rotom, Girantina, Shaymin.

You seem to have missed much of what I had said, if that is not the case, I apologize, but we are not communicating something to each other here, and I am trying to figure out what it is.

A new Generation has always had new starters, that is not to say that we should not assume a New Generation before hand.
However, since new starters have not been revealed, and there has only been one (1) silhouette of an Unknown Breed of Pokemon, there really is nothing that shows me that there is another Generation at Hand. I am not saying it will not happen, nor that I don't want to see it. I am just holding out because the information given is really not enough to Bank on.

So, Snubull and Marill being the first Gen II pokemon to be revealed didn't confrim Gen II because even though they were new pokemon only revealing a new set of starters confirms the next gen? Same with Wailmer? Same with Lucario (you know, the FREAKIN STAR OF THE MOVIE!? Actually having the creators say they are making new games with new pokemon in a new region doesn't matter at all?

That makes perfect sense!
