can i get a jolteon to drop 101 subs? how about an Umbreon?

if so, any one know the minimum evs needed for this?

You would need a base HP of 100 or more in order to make 101 subs. Seeing as most of the Eeveelutions have base 65 HP (except for Umbreon, who has 95 base HP, and Vaporeon, who has 130 base HP), only Vaporeon would be able to make 101 HP subs. (with a 31 HP IV, it would need 12 HP EVs to do so)

Forgive me for my ignorance, but what is 101HP subs? Or is my question suppose to be in the Simple Q&A thread?

Since Substitute takes 25% of your HP, having HP at 101 is a simple way to allow you to Substitute a few times (4 in this case) and get down to 1 HP, where you can do things like Endeavor, Reversal, or Flail.

Actually Geodude, you would not need 101 subs for Endeavor, Reversal, or Flail. All you would need is to have an HP that is one point higher than a number divisible by 4. (201, 205, 209, etc.) The purpose of a 101 sub, as Damian stated, is to take two Seismic Tosses/Night Shades. The situation would go like:

Pokémon A used Substitute!
Pokémon A made a substitute!
Pokémon B used Seismic Toss!
The substitute took the damage for Pokémon A! (It will not be destroyed)

Next turn, Pokémon A would have an essesntially a free turn to either set up (Calm Mind, Swords Dance, Nasty Plot, Curse, etc.) or have a free hit on the opponent (Focus Punch, or high BP-low accuracy moves like Stone Edge or Focus Blast). When the sub is broken, Pokémon A can make yet another one and continue the cycle.

So when a pokemon with 101HP uses Substitute and cuts 25% of it's HP, how much HP will the Substitute Doll have?

It would get 25 HP subs. Also, without any interference, you can make a Substitute four times until you hit 1 HP. (101 - 25 = 76; 76 - 25 = 51; 51 - 25 = 26; 26 - 25 = 1)

i would say a breloom is better of using toxic orb/poison cure, unless your gonna run a sub/focus punch (is that set even standard anymore?)
