10th Anniversary

Hi, my name is Ian, I have been a Pokemon fan since the original games came out in 1998, it only occured to me today, that this is the 10th anniversary of the Pokemon franchise, so, everybody wish a happy 10th birthday to the Pokemon series, one of the most successful gaming franchises in history

Bizarrely enough, it is also the anniversary of a movie that's been a favorite of mine since I was a kid, Superman:The Movie

I think Nintendo celebrated the 10th anniversary in 2006, based off the Japanese release. It's true that it was released in 98 in the US... but I thought it was in the fall... like September or August of 1998.

At first I thought this was going to be about the 10 anniversary of Bulbagarden. I almost forgot about that, I think that is coming up in a couple years or so, if not sooner.
