I wanted an art for Mysterious Crystal ("Enigma Crystal" is a really awkward translation, we should refrain using it).

And Mew? WTF?!
 
Yeah what can they do for art? Coming out of Pewter Museum to an enradged Lati@s. Not to mention it depends on version so you can't exactly have an art without starting canon issues.

Don't get you.

We did get sprites for Member's Pass and Oak's Letter, didn't we? An artwork for Mystery Crystal would be pretty relevant, wouldn't it?

Generally, it's a pity that HGSS lacks item artworks. Wings and Bells would be awesome.

We get too few Item Artworks, generally.

This. I enjoy item artworks too. I would like to see the Eon, Aurora, Mystic, S.S. Anne and S.S. Tidal ticket arts, but sadly I don't think there'll ever be released or even exist.
 
Forgot those so yeah makes sense. I'm sure sooner or later we might get it.
 
With these events, is there a Celebi event in the future?
 
I do not want to start speculating but this definitely tells me that the lock capsule is indeed for the future. And I wouldn't be surprised if they are rushing all these events for now so they can have something out by next September.
 
The Mew is being given away as an anniversary gift commemmorating Gold and Silver's release ten years ago. This is somewhat ironic seeing as Mew was never distributed to the Generation II games, which is a fact that is also noted on the page. It's a pity that there is no in-game event that sheds more light on Mew and Mewtwo (the Emerald event was limited to Japan and mostly served to deepen the mystery).

Hopefully. But the only way in which the History and Record Ribbons will ever be used is through another Generation IV game. They're obviously supposed to be obtained for accomplishing a special feat akin to defeating Red (for which the Legend Ribbon is given).
 
But on a lower level Unown Lord. Meaning something like beating Steven or such. I can see them using them for a future RSEmake or something to be honest as so many things are still open.

Unravelling the history of Arceus and the Unown perhaps? I mean come on you know that with HGSS that is completely possible in a 3rd game.
 
Luckily for me, the Mew event isn't exclusive to HeartGold and SoulSilver; the Wonder Card will also be available next year for Japanese Diamond, Pearl and Platinum versions. So it'll be the first Mew I get by myself -I have the Osaka PALCITY one thanks to a friend-, not counting the Ranch one.

I guess Mew's OT will also be NZ just like the Jirachi promotion last June, because the official site mentions the Nintendo Zone service.
