My friend and I were playing around with his new cards, and we found this level 60 shuckle card from 2010 with a Poke-Body Shell Barricade and Poison Jab (30). I was going to tell him the cool fact about how Shuckle has the highest defense and sp.defense, but I noticed that the Pokemon's name was in fact misspelled, as well as a few other grammatical errors:
"Sunckle" instead of "Shuckle"
"Aslong" instead of "As long"
and
"liguld" instead of "liquid".

We looked around the internet, but we couldn't find anything. Would anyone know anything about this? Would anyone think that it's rare?

Example of card (Non-misprint):

It sounds fake to me, there's rarely that many misspellings on a single card. I would compare the fonts used on it and the thickness of the paper to a real card from the same set to see if they match up.

definetly fake... they would never mess up a name that badly. also, do you know thats not a promo?

That's pretty interesting, because he got it from a promo pack. o_o
Do fake cards come in official pokemon packs?

A Promo Pack? There's no such thing other than the POP Series, and Southern Islands. Do you mean in a blister box/display? And where did you buy it?

That's really interesting, but, and forgive me for pointing out the obvious, but the image of the one you provided, which I know it is not the actual one you have, is from the HeartGold SoulSilver expansion and is definitely not a Promo.

Here's some examples of the actual card, same as the one you have provided an image of:
On Bulbapedia ~ http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Shuckle_(HeartGold_&_SoulSilver_11)
On Serebii ~ Serebii.net TCG HeartGold SoulSilver - #11 Shuckle
On Pokebeach ~ http://pokebeach.com/heartgold-and-soulsilver (Shuckle is number 11 on the list)

Is there any way you can even take a scan or photograph of the card and upload it as an attachment so that we have a better understanding of what the difference between the regular Shuckle from the HeartGold SoulSilver set is from the one your friend has gotten from the promo pack?
Also, can I ask, what other cards were in the pack, if any?

The only cards the I've seen that had a error on them were fake. So I personally think it couldn't be real...
