2013 Autumn Awards Voting Thread

Hello once more everyone,

Now that the nomination period has ended, with more nominees in some areas and fewer in others, (thank you to everyone that took part, you are helping to keep the Awards alive!), it is time we move into the voting. In this round, the public votes for the stories they want to carry on to the judging round. Each fic and character requires two votes to make their way to the next round, though this will vary depending on how many votes are cast in each category as there must be competition.

The rules:
- You may vote for two stories/characters per category. These may only be from the list below and not alternate submissions.
- You may not ask anyone to vote for your work. You may remind your readers the categories you’re nominated in within your thread, but you cannot directly ask someone to vote. If someone asks you to vote for them, can you please let us know as there will be punishments – you have been warned.
- No voting for your own work (duh). Even if you nominated your own work, I encourage you to spread the love around and vote as well.
- This is not a rule persay, but please can there be no whinging/complaining about not getting any votes; it does not do you any favours and only makes you look bad. I will not be pleased if I see any of these posts floating around.
- Remember to double check the list to see which fics/characters have gone through (they will be bolded). There is not much point voting for a fic that has already gone through so your vote could go elsewhere. If you change your votes please let us know what you have changed.
- Judges and moderators can also vote.

We also have come to the time for the now expanded User Voted Categories! These THREE categories are for everyone to get involved with, firstly nominating and then voting for the users you feel have made the greatest contribution to the Fairground and Written Word in the following areas: Best Newcomer, Best Reviewer and Best Contributor to the Written Word
For the next week, please nominate people in these categories, and then you will all get the opportunity to vote on them once this week is over. For Newcomer, this user must have published their first story between June 10th and October 7th, and for the other two the users you nominate must have done their posts between the same time period, so no voting for User123 for their nice review on Journey Fic #73 back in 2010!
