2013 Global Showdown

Amongst all of the XY news revealed today, the official Pokémon website has mentioned the "2013 Global Showdown" - the final Black 2/White 2 Wi-Fi tournament before XY's release. The tournament will be a Single Battle tournament and be from 26-29th July.

The listing has gone up on the official website and it's listed that the tournament will in fact be a Single Battle tournament and will take place from 26th July until 29th July.
