Ed Sheeran collaboration event announced for Pokémon GO

To commemorate the release of the Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran's newest = studio album, a collaboration event has been announced by Niantic. The event will take place between November 22, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. PST (GMT -8) and November 30, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. PST (GMT -8).

During the event, Totodile ⁂, Mudkip ⁂, Piplup ⁂, and Oshawott ⁂ will be appearing somewhat frequently in the wild. Lucky Trainers might also encounter Squirtle wearing sunglasses ⁂, and Froakie. Squirtle wearing sunglasses will also be available to encounter when players complete Field Research tasks.

Players will also be able to get Water-type-themed stickers by spinning PokéStops, opening Gifts, and purchasing them from the in-game shop. A one-time free Event Box will be available in the shop throughout the event, containing a Lure Module, 20 Poké Balls, 10 Razz Berries, and 10 Pinap Berries.

Additionally, a「＝」Sweatshirt will be available by redeeming the code「VVM87WGMMUZHTB8X」between Monday, November 22, 2021, at 1:00 PST (GMT −8) and the end of the event. Please note that the code will not be active until the event begins, and expires after the event ends on 11/30/2021.

Finally, a Special Ed Sheeran performance will be available through the Pokémon GO app. You'll be able to check out the performance in the in-game News beginning on Monday, November 22, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. PST (GMT −8). The performance will feature songs from =, Ed's new album, including:

• Overpass Graffiti
• Thinking Out Loud
• First Time
• Shivers

"Overpass Graffiti" will also be playing every night in Pokémon GO during the event period.
