Pokémon Trading Card Game Live (TCGL) is a new app that allows Trainers to enjoy the Pokémon Trading Card Game in an updated digital format. It will be a free-to-play game, and marks the first time that the Pokémon TCG will be playable on smartphones, in addition to tablets, PCs, and Macs. Pokémon Trading Card Game Live is a replacement to the current Pokémon Trading Card Game Online (TCGO).
The beta version of Pokémon TCG Live will be available to Canadian players via mobile devices, PC, and Mac. For the desktop version, players have to download the app from Pokemon.ca/TCGL (link will go live on February 22, 2022). They will also be able to enjoy cross-platform play during the testing period. Pokémon TCG Online players will have the option of playing Pokémon TCG Live during the testing period without losing access to the Pokémon TCG Online app.
