Late last week, The Pokémon Company announced a new Pokémon Center location on their website. This new location will be in the vibrant Japanese tropical island chain of Okinawa, on the first floor of the Aeon Mall Okinawa Rycom, a mall with four floors and varied attractions, such as "shops, restaurants, a movie theatre, and even an aquarium."

The store itself will feature beautiful designs that feature the unique and beautiful nature of Okinawa, an archipelago to the southwest of the main four Japanese islands. Many different areas of interest, including an area for video content, and another devoted entirely to "the beauty of the Pokémon Trading Card Game," will be showcased at the store.

The new store will open its doors in August this year. A promotional campaign will be run in the leadup to the official opening, with exclusive commemorative goods celebrating the launch available for purchase.

Not including this newly announced store, there are currently sixteen separate Pokémon Center locations in existence. The store in Singapore is currently the only Pokémon Center in located outside of Japan.

Aeon Mall Okinawa Rycom is located at 1 Raikamu, Kitanakagusuku, Nakagami District, Okinawa 901-2306, Japan (沖縄県中頭郡北中城村字ライカム1番地).
