Pokémon GO event to be held in conjunction with the BIG Festival 2022 in Brazil from July 7th to July 10th

Niantic has announced that a Pokémon GO event will be taking place at BIG Festival 2022 at the São Paulo Expo Convention Center in São Paulo, Brazil. BIG is the biggest games festival in Latin America, and is being held this year between July 7th to July 10th, from 10:00am to 10:00pm local time.

At the venue location, Trainers will have access to the following:

• Several Sponsored PokéStops and Gyms will be available.
• Lure Modules activated during the event period will last for 6 hours.
• When spinning PokéStops, Trainers will receive exclusive Field Research tasks that will reward special encounters with the following Pokémon:
  • Porygon ⁂
  • Unown B
  • Unown I
  • Unown G
  • Joltik

Tickets for the event are now available for purchase at this link. Trainers can use the coupon code NIANTICBIG22 during checkout to receive a 20% discount on the ticket price. Only one coupon can be activated per person. A BIG Festival ticket gives full access to one day of the in-person event at the São Paulo Expo Convention Center. The event in Pokémon GO is completely free for Trainers who are physically present in the BIG Festival area.
