Heading to Hoenn Mega Raid Day on December 3rd to feature Pokémon GO debuts of Mega Sceptile, Mega Blaziken, and Mega Swampert

Niantic has announced details of an upcoming event, the Heading to Hoenn Mega Raid Day, which will run on December 3rd, between 2:00pm and 5:00pm local time.

In this Raid Day event, the Mega-Evolved forms of Sceptile, Blaziken, and Swampert will each be making their Pokémon GO debuts by appearing in Mega Raids. All of these Mega-Evolved Pokémon will also have an increased chance of appearing in their Shiny variants. Mega Sceptile will know the Charged Attack Frenzy Plant, Mega Blaziken will know the Charged Attack Blast Burn, and Mega Swampert will know the Charged Attack Hydro Cannon.

During this event, all Trainers will be able to receive up to five additional free Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs. Trainers can also purchase a ticket for US$5.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in their local currency) to receive the following additional rewards.

• Six additional Raid Passes from spinning Gyms
• Increased chance to get Rare Candy XL
• 50% more XP from Raid Battles
• 2× Stardust for from Raid Battles

These bonuses will only be effective between 2:00pm and 10:00pm local time on December 3rd.
