Theee Generation IV Pokémon games to feature in the Long Speedrun Summit 2023 marathon
The Long Speedrun Summit is a prominent series of Japanese marathons that has been held annually in September since 2020. It is considered a counterpart of the western ReallyReallyLongAThon. LSS focuses on speedruns of games that take a long time to complete even in the shortest any% categories, as well as long speedrun categories. Their definition of a long RTA (real-time attack) is 1.5-18 hours for games with action elements, and 3-18 hours for games that do not. They are also planning an event called Quon Speedrun which will be specifically focusing on games and categories which are over 18 hours in length.
The details and expected times for the Pokémon runs at Long Speedrun Summit 2023 are as follows. Please note that these times were correct at time of writing, but may be subject to change based on delays in the marathon.
