Pokémon Violet, Sword and Shield to feature in AusSpeedruns At PAX (ASAP) 2023 charity marathon starting tomorrow, in benefit of Game On Cancer

AusSpeedruns @ PAX Aus 2023
AusSpeedruns will be hosting the AusSpeedruns At PAX (ASAP) 2023 marathon out of the PAX Aus convention this week in Melbourne, Australia, raising money for Game On Cancer. Pokémon Violet, Sword and Shield will each be featured in runs as part of this event, in which runners each attempt to complete a game, or an objective within the game, as quickly as possible. ASAP 2023 will run from October 6th to 8th, can be watched from AusSpeedrun's official Twitch channel.

AusSpeedruns is a group that organizes "the biggest speedrunning marathons in Australia", with their events all raising money for various charities. They typically hold on-location events in July and October, first starting in 2015. In addition to ASAP which is held every PAX Aus, their flagship event is the AusSpeedruns Marathon (ASM). ASM 2023 earlier this year raised over $35,000 for Game on Cancer, a project of Australian charity Cure Cancer, which as the name suggests works to fund livesaving Cancer research.
