Ryuki & Turtonator make their Pokémon Masters EX debut today in a new set of Spotlight Scouts

Continuing on from the recent launch of the new Who's the Best Singer? Story Event, Ryuki & Turtonator are making their debut in Pokémon Masters EX today in a set of Spotlight Scouts.

This Dragon-type Tech Role pair makes their debut with an expanded sync grid, as well as the ability to be raised to 6★ EX and unlock a Strike (Special) EX Role. Raising them to 6★ EX also changes Ryuki's outfit to be predominately black with grey highlights.

Ryuki & Turtonator are focused around dealing powerful Special attack counter-attacks to opponents. Their Pour My Soul! Status Move allows them to buff themselves up before attacking, raising their Sp. Attack and Critical-Hit rate by 2 stat ranks, and their Special Moves ↑ Next effect by 1 rank. On using Shell Trap to set up their counter-attack, their Star Shout! Passive Skill then activates, making all opponents target them for a short time, as well as appling the Damage Guard Next effect to them, and increasing their Special Moves ↑ Next effect by a further 2 ranks. Should Ryuki & Turtonator start to take damage from opponents targeting them, their First Aid 9 Passive Skill will kick in, restoring their HP by roughly 90% of their maximum the first time they are in a pinch each battle.

In addition to the regular Spotlight Scout, Trainers can also take advantage of a Ryuki Spotlight Scout + Present! Limit 3!, a special Sync Pair Scout requiring paid gems, that, as the name implies, can be used up to 3 times. Players will receive a 50% discount on their first Sync Pair Scout x11 for this special Spotlight Scout, making it 1,500 Gems rather than the usual 3,000. As an added bonus, players will also receive bonus items every time they do a Sync Pair Scout x11 for this special Spotlight Scout. The bonuses that are received are as follows.

The 5★ Master Scout Ticket P allows Trainers to use the Ryuki Guaranteed Ticket Scout, ensuring they scout this wandering rocker from Alola. Both the Spotlight Scout and Spotlight Scout + Present! Limit 3! will be available until November 19th, at 9:59pm (PST). The associated Ticket Scout will be available until November 27th, at 9:59pm (PST).
