Abomasnow
Nature: Sassy
Ability: Snow Warning
Item: Lum Berry
EV: 252 HP / 84 SpA / 96 SpD / 76 Spe
~ Blizzard
~ Wood Hammer
~ Protect
~ Leach Seed/EQ/Iceshard

Mixed attacker Abomsnow is sent out to get the hail rolling. I'm having trouble with it's last move because seed is recovery, EQ hits metagross, and iceshard is priority.

Sneasel
Nature: Jolly
Ability: Inner Focus
Item: Focus Sash
EV: 252 Atk / 252 Spe / 6 hp
~ Fake Out
~ Taunt
~ Protect
~ Counter/Ice Punch

It's clef's sneasel. It can fake out, taunt, while being immune to flinch which is just gravy. Counter is great if sash is up but Ice Punch let's him attack later on.

Weezing
Nature: Bold
Ability: Levitate
Item: Black Sludge
EV: 252 HP / 176 Def / 80 SpA
~ Thunderbolt
~ Fire Blast
~ Explosion
~ Pain Split/Will O Wisp

Weezing fills a lot of holes in my team. He is immune to ground and resist fighting which are problems for Ice Pokemon. Tbolt is for waters and Fire Blast is for steels that think they are being clever. Explosion is always nice to have. Pain Split let's him live longer, but Will O Wisp let's him cripple physical pokemon.

Lapras
Nature: Naughty
Ability: Water Absorb
Item: Leftovers
EV: 16 HP / 252 Atk / 16 SpA / 224 Spe
~ Dragon Dance/Curse/Protect
~ Blizzard
~ Earthquake
~ Waterfall

Lapras is an interesting pokemon that will be probably be coming out with Weezing. Blizzard takes advantage of the hail, Waterfall is for physcial STAB, and EQ is to hit metagross really. Dragon dance is always good to have, but curse would allow me to move the Spe EVs into Def. Protect is protect.

The team looks pretty good, but I'm curious as to why you aren't evolving sneasel.

Also, I think you should replace blizzard on abomasnow with ice beam to improve accuracy.

^ question is seconded

And Blizzard gets 100% accuracy in snow, which Abomasnow sets up, so accuracy isn't an issue.

Sneasel has Inner Focus which means it can not be flinched. If I'm going against a trick room team then Sneasel can taunt the pokemon setting up trick room while the other fakeout pokemon tries to flinch Sneasel. Having a taunt or a fakeout that will always go off is better than 10 extra base speed and 20 extra base attack in a double battle.

Well that makes sense. I don't have that much experience with double battling so I was just curious about that.

So I guess in conclusion your team is pretty good.

What, are you going to be asking your opponent to use a trick room team or to be stupid enough to try to flinch sneasel?

Scizor with Bullet Punch resists everything your first two Pokes have. Then it kills you. ;<

Sneasel can KO with counter, and Weezing destroys Scizor. Bullet Punch Scizor and Metagross are why I'm not using Mamoswine on the team. The best thing I could do is sub out Lapras for Zapdos if I know one it coming. :(

Assuming your opponent isn't a total noob, why would they try using Fakeout on something that might be immune to flinching? It's not worth them even testing to see which ability you have, seeing as Sneasel has a dark resist. Even if you are counting on the opponent trying to use Fakeout on you, then it still doesn't make sense for you to be trying to pull off focus sash and Counter. While Fakeout won't flinch you, it will still use up your focus sash.

And... its extra base speed and attack do make a difference.(not to mention HP, defense, and special defense... Weavile already doesn't like to take hits, so Sneasel will like it even less).

Inner Focus is there to nullify Fake Out. The fact is, if one turn is of action is guaranteed (Which Inner Focus and Focus Sash do), then that one Taunt could decide the entire battle.

Fake Out + Priority Move/Hit from faster Pokemon (like Bullet Punch from Scizor). No Taunt is pulled off, although Abomasnow does get a free turn. People WILL expect Sneasel to carry Focus Sash and double up on it. Not saying it won't work sometimes; I just think Weavile would be a better choice.

What about a Mix Swampert instead of Lapras? It resist steel and is bulky enough to take a hit or two.

A Mix Swampert could work as a replacement for Lapras. It counters Metagross, but Pokémon packing HP Grass/Grass Knot are a bit of a concern.

Togekiss is an option, since it can use Fire attacks on Meta, and Air Slash will take care of most Fighting-types.

The priority movie could be canceled by the Sneasel's own Fake Out, if you didn't hear.

But then one turn of action (the Taunt you mentioned) is still not guaranteed, because you used Fake Out instead. Next turn, a faster move kills you before you Taunt while the other Pokemon is free to deal with Abomasnow.
