About 11:42 a.m. PDT today there was a 5.8 magnitude earthquake a little east of Los Angeles.

Anybody feel anything?

Yupyup, I sure did! My dogs were flipping out -- I was amazed at how calm I was, though. I was sitting on the couch watching Pink Panther when I felt a small shake. It stopped after a couple seconds, and then I felt another, stronger one. I simply thought 'oh, it's an earthquake' -- then I realized what I had just thought and jumped up to get my dogs. ^_^;; didn't last very long, though, because I'm pretty far from Chino (where the epicenter was).

Yep. It lasted 5 to 10 seconds here in North Hollywood in the San Fernando Valley north of L.A. I figured it was a 4.0 earthquake. No big whoop as far as I was concerned.

Yeah, it wasn't that big a thing. I was in my car at the time and felt a bit of rocking, but figured I had driven over something and only found out there was an earthquake once I started work like 5 minutes later. Barely anything even fell over at my store, and the only damage at home is a few spooked cats and some unbalanced books that fell off my rickety shelf. Nothing to write home about.
