Okay, this is probably nothing special to most of you, but I'm proud of it. I've never caught a legendary with anything less than 50 ultra balls, timer balls, or something of the sort.
I reset three times, after accidentally killing him (one time because it ran too long and he struggled himself to death) the fourth time... magic. I managed to get him paralyzed and down to ONE hitpoint, and started tossing balls... I figured I'd use up the friend balls I have tons of, and blam! After 6, I caught him! I've never used less than 50 of anything catching a legendary. So I still have my master, and yay for not breaking the bank!
