9 Mysteries of Kalos (minor spoilers)

Mystery number 6 isn't much of a mystery- it's just another eccentric bit-part NPC being eccentric, this time being obsessed with keeping track of elevator trips. She's unlikely to be related to the ghost girl; all they share is their character class.

The rest are very interesting, though. The message on the TMV timetable in particular interests me (for some reason it gives me ASOUE vibes...). Though the article is missing at least one mystery, that being the missing editor from Lumiose Press who went to the mountains to look for a legendary Pokemon and was never mentioned again.

One mysteri i have found that i find wierd is at route 18 there is a mine cart that if you press it it says that it is an abandoned mine cart. why is it the only mine cart to do that?

Given that Game Freak apparently only had the idea to do sequels after completing BW and just put a bunch of sequel hooks with no guarantee of following up, I'd say most of this (other than the region and Mega Evolution) will never get an answer....though that doesn't mean this is bad. There's a lot of things in life we never get the answer to so this at least opens it up to nice fan speculations.

We know #5 isn't the Marvelous Bridge ghost though. That was actually wrapped up in BW2.

As for #6.....not really a mystery. The Hex Maniacs are made to be off the wagon so a Hex Maniac pressing her ears against the wall to hear the elevator is perfectly 'normal'

We have a Rock/Fairy legendary (supposedly)....perhaps he got spirited away by it when he visited the mountains it lived in. It would be interesting if Game Freak decided to return to creating in-game events for Legendaries since we can't hack the 3DS. The Jejune Plaza Pokemon, I am almost certain is Volcanion.

I also think they missed the Chamber of Emptiness. I haven't reached it in-game myself, but one of the comments to that article mentions it has a map description that reads "A mysterious void. It is said nothing can exist within it". Sounds pretty mysterious (if not a bit creepy) if you ask me.

The closed Power Plant doors interest me greatly. I hope they're part of some future DLC or something, because I really want to get in.

I'm still of the opinion that one of the most mysterious places in the whole game is the station of Couriway Town as I've written in this thread: Unsolved Mysteries in X/Y... Why do they have a nicely designed station there if no train is going to or from Couriway? And the only person there just gives you a TM? Only Gamefreak knows. I'm guessing that there might be an event, but perhaps that's just me...

I just assumed the editor from the press was the guy keeping you from entering the room with Zygarde. Though I guess I've never actually checked to see if he returns to Lumiose after you beat the League.

He didn't. The letter is still here, so the mystery is still here.

I wonder if the two Skiddo abandoned outside Lumiose Station mean something. Maybe they're related either to the editor, or whoever put the message in the station, or maybe they're the same person.

Idk about you guys, but getting all those mysteries is indeed exciting lol. Gr8 move on GameFreak's part, worldwide release in an unhacked device.
I just hope the mysterious ghostly woman from the 2nd has something to do with a ghost legendary, now that'd be awesome!

Thanks for pointing that out. It would have been a hassle to go check. I can't navigate Lumiose City if my life depended on it.

Gotta agree with you there :S Wish they made a map just for lumiose city
You mean like this?

Well, Mr. Masuda has stated in an interview that we're unlikely to get paid DLC for XY, so I don't think that answers any of these mysteries. I agree that Volcanion and the other leaked Pokemon are probably going to be some sort of event legendaries although Hoopa isn't a very epic name .

I'm also thinking that the Hiker who mentions another region may actually be referencing that HD game we saw, like, four seconds of (Pokken or something, right?). Of course, this is just an idea, but it seems (to me) plausible.

There's also a map of Lumiose in the strategy guide, so there is one from an official source.

Another mystery he missed is the guy in Snowbelle. He offers to teach secret moves to Meloetta and Keldeo. Hinting about future events?

He could just be there to teach those moves to Keldeo and Meloetta that we already own once we can transfer them to Pokemon X and Y.

There is still possible that he is there for future events.

I doubt it. There's Skiddos sleeping in other places in the city, including inside one of the buildings. I think they're just supposed to complement the Gogoat riding service and be cute.
