A bit of useless theory (you may think Im stupid :D)

Yesterday I totally couldnt fell asleep, so I was thinking of various stupid things and a kind of stupid idea came to me: to calculate maximal damage possible (counting with overkill, I mean it's "How much hp need that other guy have to survive this hit"). So I started calculating. Maybe my choose of pokemon is not perfect, but...

In red corner we got
Darmanitan lv.100 @choice band
Lonely with Sheer Force
atk:416 (with choice band 624)
got:
-Flare Blitz
-Belly Drum
-Sunny Day
+some other poke in team got Screech

In blue corner we got
Leavanny lv.1
Lonely
def:5

So the fight begins:

• Another Poke uses Screech on leavanny 3 times (her def becomes 5/4=1,25)
• Switch in Darmanitan
• Darmanitan uses belly drum (his atk becomes (624*4=2496) and he swithes out and in to negate effect of Sash
• Darmanitan uses Sunny Day and swithes out and in again
• Darmanitan uses Flare Blitz! Critical Strike!

So how much theoretical damage It deals? Counting:
Atk power is 120*1,3 (Sheer Force)=156
Modifier is STAB(1,5)*Double Effective(4)*Crit(2)*Sunny Day(1,5)*rand[0.85..1](we got lucky and got 1)=18
Damage=((2*lvl(100)+10)/250)*(atk(2496)/def(1.25))*(Power(156))+2)*Modifier(18)=4 709 928

So its almost 5 million damage :sweatlol:

I know that was useless and just an empty theory and I'm stupid to think about this stupidity at all, but that poor Leavanny should better get those 4 709 929 Hp I guess...

There are bigger damages you could do. Rampardos using Headsmash against a Yanma. Yeah but I like this

It wont be more, because Sheer Force isnt boosting moves with only Recoil as added effect and no weather effects boost Rock type moves.

Switching out would negate the effects of Belly Drum. You'd have to have a non-scarfed 'mon Baton Pass it in.

I'd replace Leavanny with Sewaddle, Paras, or Sunkern. They're weaker than Leavanny.

One I tried is Lv 100 Modest Attack Deoxys VS Naughty Lv 1 Croagunk. Using PsyPoke's Damage Calculator, this was the result of Max SpAtk Deoxys using Psycho Boost against Lowest SpDef Croagunk:
Min: 3,627,360
Average: 3,926,088
Crit: 4,267,488

That's some intense shit dude. Maybe I'll go make more...who else has a x4 weakness to Psychic with lower special defense than Croagunk I wonder? D: Nobody huh...

A level 100 Shuckle can potentially deal the most damage in one single attack through the use of numerous stat boosters; by using Helping Hand by an ally, holding a Metronome, Power Trick, a Skill Swap to Pure Power, and 6 Attack boosts. Also, Shuckle's partner must have the Ability Flower Gift and the weather must be sunny. On the 5th turn of using Rollout consecutively without any misses, if used against a level 1 Ledyba, Yanma or Combee with minimum Defense stats, that have been hit with negative Defense modifiers (such as Screech), it can deal 48,121,381 damage with a critical hit.

This would be imposable in regular game play, but isn't it interesting?
