So....
The title has nothing to do with the story. I really couldn't think of a title at all, so really kind of pathetic. I also forgot how to spell apple for a while, that does make it even more pathetic.
Firstly some notes. Lyrebird is not a writer, I have less talent than a dead frog floating around in the water. it's cold lifeless body floating, floating away until it is eaten by a duck. Not one of those cute ducks or maybe a cute duck, I don't know but I always wanted a pet swan actually. So the point is that I'm not a writer at all but I'm trying because something to cross of a bucket list. I still have cliff diving on that list.
Secondly a thank you to everyone who helped me. Trust me I really needed the help and support, like really.
Plot - It is just a random bunch of teenagers being teenagers. I set it in the mid 90's because I totally love the pop culture of that era and it really gets rid of the social media aspect which I wanted. The fashion was pretty horrible though. I guess I didn't really have a plot because I just wanted to focus on characters that I've dealt with in real life. I just wanted to keep it simple because more me there isn't really a story story, it just random stuff that happens. I wanted to keep the rawness, I mean if I knew what I was doing.
It's a Teen rating kind of with some mature themes. Adult themes, swearing, drug themes.

Chapter 1 - "Babes and Virginia"
------------
“Eugh I totally wish summer wouldn't end.”
“Me too, I still get stomach aches thinking about school.”
It was the first day of a new year at a High School in the West Coast of the USA. Two girls sat by their cars, a red 1995 Ferrari 348 Spider convertible and a very fancy black 1997 Corvette C5. The red Ferrari looked pretty average compared to the Corvette which showed the differences between the two girls.
Who drove the Corvette? Gisela Müller. Gisela Müller, the beautiful beauty of the school, nay the whole area. She was the triple threat, beautiful, popular and rich. The only child of two super rich lawyers, she had it all except her parents being separated. Beautiful light blonde hair, standing at 5’6” with a fair like pale complexion and the most beautiful denim blue eyes with long lashes. She had a body, face, the everything that girls envied immensely.
Next to the Ferrari was Gisela’s best friend, Courtney Watson. They were both popular and rich but Courtney had a more normal upbringing. Her mother worked as a PR consultant while her father coached in the Major Leagues. Courtney with her long golden blonde hair, dark brown eyes with a more tanned complexion compared to her best friend, looked more down to earth. She didn't have the figure that Gisela had but she was a lot taller standing at 5’9” with long slender legs.
“I can’t deal with another year of school.” Gisela looked up at the bright blue sky, no cloud in sight. “I hope that Chris doesn't get jealous of any cute guys this year? Do you not remember at my mother’s when I was just talking to a cute TV show actor. Like, who does he think he is?” She scoffed while checking out some of the cute guys that walked around the school entrance.
“Didn't you guys break up?” Courtney looked at her books, a heavy stack of them. “After your mom’s, I think.”
“He was so jealous, Court. I don’t get why he was so insecure.” Gisela scoffed at her best friend. “Like please this isn't 1995, it’s ’96.”
“Anyway I have a couple of goals for this year.” Courtney smiled brightly. She considered her legs as her best asset but she had the loveliest smile. “My 1st goal is to do well in school. Like my mom said she’ll cut on my spending. She is making me do like advanced math.”
“Why? That totally sounds like torture.” The girls made their way from their cars to the hallways. The hallways, jam packed with students from different backgrounds, shapes, sizes and smells. The walls were covered in motivational posters over a hideous light green wall. Gisela made eye gestures at a few cute guys walking by her locker.
“She says that it will help me go further in life, like something about how math is like the center of the universe.” Courtney recited in her usual calm tone. “You know how my mom is.”
“That sounds barbaric, Court.” Gisela leaned against Courtney’s locker holding her books. “Speak of barbaric…” The girls watched as a guy with medium length light brown hair wearing a dark blue collar shirt with light blue denim jeans and black loafers, walked up to them. Tall with a chiseled body, he attracted the looks of many girls.
“God, this place is like hell.” The male had his hand on the locker as he towered over Gisela. “Wasn't summer like heaven, girls?”
“When I didn't see you.” Gisela shot back. “So how was your summer, Chris? Did you enjoy life without me?”
Chris Ambrose, the ex-boyfriend of Gisela Müller. Chris was one of many popular star athletes of the school with visions of being an MVP in the NBA or the winner of the Superbowl. Chris could always get the girls he wanted with his money, good looks, athletic body and his parents being an award winning singer and the other on national television as an news anchor in the mornings. “Of course I did! Beach, babes, and my new classic Jag. What about you guys?”
“Oh nothing much just went to Europe. You wouldn't believe how many guys there are so much cuter and better than you in every facet. Alcohol is so super easy to get.” Gisela smiled as she slapped away Chris’ hand on her shoulder.
“I just helped my dad with a few things.” Courtney meekly answered. She didn’t really get to do much unlike Gisela or Chris. She had strict parents who loved to over protect her a lot. “Coach Watson needed someone to just do errands, I was his girl. It was such a bummer.”
“At least you didn't have to wait on tables.”
Courtney jumped at the voice right behind her.
“Hey bro,” Chris smiled at the handsome dark blonde haired male behind Courtney. “So summer was a bust for Joel.”
“You wouldn't believe it Chris, my man.” Joel replied running his hand through his gelled up dark brown hair. Joel Harris, another popular guy who is fit but never excelled in sport. He is considered to be the smart one and the sensitive guy in the group. Not only excelled in his studies but in extra-curricular activities while working as a waiter in a local café and boy did the women swooned over him. There was a pretty girl standing beside him with long dark brown hair, hazel eyes and a beautiful smile. “Oh right I forgot. This is my cousin Daniela Harris, she just moved here from some cold place in West Virginia.”
“Hi guys!” Daniela greeted excitedly, kind of over the top. The rest of the group waved or nodded back.
“This is Chris Ambrose, my best friend.” Joel pointed at Chris who winked back and then got elbowed by Gisela. “This is Gisela Müller, that’s Courtney Watson and I guess the others aren't here.” Joel looked at the group present and nodded “Alright, alright ummm…summer details bro.”
“Alright bro!” Chris nodded giving a high-five to Joel. “Catch you later Daniela and girls.” The guys went to a different part of the hallways next to a vending machine. "Dude, your cousin is hot."
------------------------------------
Somewhere alien to this school stood a 6ft male with dark brown hair spiked up at the front, wearing a grey t-shirt with bootcut denim jeans and sneakers. “Man, 1st day of school and I’m lost. This place is nothing like back home and I’m talking to myself, way to go Kyle.” Kyle muttered to himself trying to read a map of the school until he ran a bunch of football players who tripped him over. “Geez it’s like I never left…” He muttered face down on the floor. “I hate jocks…”
--------------------------------------------
“Alright fill me in bro.” Joel stood by a vending machine with Chris. He saw Kyle on the ground after being tripped in the distance. “Sssssouch! Not the best way to start a new school. We should help him.”
“Forget it. He’s a geek.” Chris laughed at Kyle’s misfortune. Joel looked at him with an eyebrow raised. “Well…you see, Gisela and I have this geek radar and that my friend states that the dude is a geek. You can just see it in his eyes.”
“You’re really perceptive…” Joel sarcastically replied. “So anyway what happened between you and le girlyfriend?”
“Gisela? Forget her. She’s a bitch.” Chris replied with a massive smirk on his face. “She flirted with some loser child actor at her mom’s party and she says I’m the jerk. All I did was flirt with some hot babe.”
“Dude, that’s all you do.” Joel laughed. “But hey at least you’re single now.”
“That’s right!” Chris slapped his friend’s back. “That means beaches, babes and driving my new classic Jag.”
“You got a classic Jag? Alright bro.” The guys gave each other a low five. “Which Jag?”
“E-Type.”
“You rich bastard. That’s a magnificent beast. I don’t even want to know how you got it but hey I’m gonna help that guy.” Joel explained in delight and awe about how his best friend could get one of the most beautiful cars of all time. "He's new I think..."
“I’ll catch you later at lunch, bro.”
----------------------------------------
The group was sitting outside by their favorite palm tree during lunch. They were joined by Chris and Joel’s buddy Tony Howard. He lived with his mother after his father ran off with his secretary to Canada after they got out of 'the hood'. Tony who is of African-American descent loved to skateboard, surf and do all those extreme sports but was pretty silent. Along with a girl with black hair with a mixed complexion, a stunning complexion since she was half white and half black. She was tight with Chris and Joel as well. Her name is Alicia Harrison, the a know-it-all smart girl that knew both the guys since they were 5 year olds....even if she was Joel's ex.
“Hey, I see Kyle.” Joel waved at the brown haired kid that had tripped in the hallways earlier today. In response Joel was pelted by food from the group who all yelled out “No!”
Kyle saw Joel and then looked at his friends. He stared at the group for a few seconds before someone called out his name, two guys that wore glasses and Nintendo t-shirts. “Hey guys!” Kyle sat down with them.
“Look at that, Joel bro got ditched by a geek.” Tony laughed throwing pieces of food at Chris.
“I did not get ditched. He has other friends.” Joel pelted more pieces of bread at Chris.
“Face it Joel. He is a geek that knows his place. I mean look at the people he is sitting with. It’s total geek central.” Gisela stared at the guys that were sitting with Kyle. “I know these things.”
“Yeah I mean he answered like every question in math. He’s one of those smart know it all people.” Courtney added as she bit into a shiny red apple. "Do that on the first day and it is loser central!"
“Like Alicia.” Chris laughed. “Ouch…” He rubbed his right arm after being punched by Alicia. “But you’re not a geek, Alicia. You're smart, awesome, hot and strong…damn that hurts.”
“So in more important news….” Gisela picked a piece of tomato from her sandwich and threw it on the ground. “House party at mine this weekend to celebrate the traditional Müller's return of school in style party. It dates back to junior high, you guys in?” She explained to Daniela since she was new.
“I don’t know. I don’t think my parents will let me go…” Daniela sighed while slouching against the palm tree. “I have to pass, Gisela.”
“Dani please. Everyone who's everyone is coming.” Gisela explained. “You have to come. Just ask your cousin to tell your parents that you’ll be with him.”
“I don’t know….my parents are still moving. I'm staying with Joel and his parents until they can find a place to live.” Daniela flicked some of her dark brown hair from her eyes. “I’m new and stuff.”
“Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeee Dani?” Gisela pleaded giving Daniela the ‘Puppy Dog Look’.
“Joel?”
“Yeah I can try to sort it out with my parents but no promises.”
“Then it is settled.” Gisela smiled as she grabbed Daniela’s hand. “You have going to have the best time ever. There will be some totally cute guys.”
“What about my parents?” Courtney asked. Her parents wouldn't let her go to any party late at night thinking that their daughter would be enticed into sleeping with guys, doing drugs and getting drunk.
“Just tell them you’ll be at mine for a sleepover like always.” Gisela smiled. “Then it is settled. This is going to be the best party ever.”
-----------------
“We are so going to that party.” Kyle said to the guys that he was sitting with. “See that girl? Gisela Müller, I heard about her, total fox. She is like a supermodel. We are going to be there.” News traveled very fast across the school’s grapevine.
“But I thought we were going to play Super Mario Kart this weekend?” The boy wearing the Link shirt responded while cleaning up his lunch off his video game magazine.
“Gavin, that’s just an alibi. We are going to that party.” Kyle smirked. "All about the babes, man. Just imagine the babes." putting his arm around Gavin. "You'll have fun."
"Oh...okay..." Gavin sighed as he looked down at his video game magazine. "Are you sure?"
"It is going to be memorable, my friend."
