I remember the time I decided I was going to finally play a Pokémon game in a language other than English, that being Pokémon Violet. And I quickly noticed early on that most NPCs in the Spanish text localization had names that differed from those in the English localization (on a tangent, it should be noted that since Generation V, every Western language option for the games would use the original Japanese text for localization; English was no longer used as a bridge for localization). As a result, I decided to take a couplet sheets of paper and write down their Spanish-localized names. And for those with any doubt, I did this process whilst reading their names in Spanish, so I can assure you that all of them are correct. I especially hope that this’ll help complete the pages on WikiDex (the Spanish site that acts like that language’s counterpart of Bulbapedia) for NPC trainers. I unfortunately couldn’t get any information of what the names of the unused data NPC Trainers for the Levincia Gym Test, Alonso and Diego, are known as in Spanish, or even if they have localized names in any languages other than Japanese and English, so if anyone has that information, then I’d be delighted to hear it.
So far, I only have photos of the named characters in the base game, but I do have a paper in the works for the Spanish-localized character names in the DLC (I’m currently in the middle of the second half of its main story), so once it’s done, I will update y’all on it. I also have a plan on making a list on Google Spreadsheets for a more organized list. Anyways, here are the photos of the list with the Spanish-localized name in big text and the English ones in smaller text around them that I’ll share with the rest of the English-speaking Pokémon community:
