The Heart of a Child

Money, money and more money
is all you'll ever hear
from the greed to the gambling
you could shed a tear
but, yet if you turn your direction to a child you'll get a different approach
For, a child will offer his last penny in you are in need
and a child will share her last piece of food
you don't see them arguing about the war
nor will you see them pridefully think of themselves as if they were better
No, you won't see them do any of this
because they have the heart of a child




Never take for Granted

Never take for granted what one truly has
from the sun to the earth
to the rushing river
Never take anything for granted
one day you may not have
the things that truly meant the most
For the river could get polluted
or the earth could slowly die
Never take even the simplest things in life for granted
for they may not one day be there


Never Give Up
"Your dreams will never come true!"
"They're hopeless and impossible so you might as well give up!"
Trust me friend I know what your going though when people's stomped all over your ambitions
You have your heart broken and they're still laughing
But, my friend please listen to these wise words
never give up on what you hope to be reality
never give up on what makes you unique
and my friend never give up on your hopes and dreams
for it's the people who never give up on their dreams
who will change the world

I think the last line of the last one should be "who" rather than "whom". "Whom" just sounds odd in that sense.

Well, I'd argue with the sentiment of the first one, since kids can be just as cruel as adults, but the words are nice.
