A different country and Team Rocket returns?

With a return to colors its a fairly good chance we'll be around the R/B/G/Y/G/S/C/HG/SS timeline. In kanto of HG/SS a team rocket grunt, a tourist from a different country, stole a powerplant part. After defeating him he said he would return to his original country and recreate team rocket there.
Discuss.
 
Not enough information to go on. We have ALWAYS had colors though... so there is no "return to colors".
 
No. Team rocket had appeared in 2 regions already, and in 4 sets of games. We've seen enough of those guys by now, don't you think? (although appearently you don't).

RSE are gems, DPP are metals, and Fr and Lg are made up colours (there is no actual colour called leafgreen.)

No, no I don't I actually like Team Rocket.
 
Gold and Silver are also colors named after the metals, so Gen II and Gen IV both had the colors Gold and Silver.

Are we to believe everything a random NPC says as cold hard facts? It's just making dialogue. It's not foreshadowing.

Um... every main series game has been set in that timeline. RSE were concurrent with RBY, and DPPt were concurrent with GSC. We never left that timeline.

That said, there's nothing we can infer one way or the other from the titles about Team Rocket.
 
a different region isn't a different country, the regions are kind of like different states. For all we know that TR grunt was from Russia.
 
Considering Giovanni's apparent suicide (seriously, watch the end of the Celebi event again and listen to him after he leaves) I doubt they'll have a leader to rally around. Which is a shame since I love the executives.

I doubt it. As has been said, Rocket has already shown up in two different gens. I don't think they'll bring them back for a third.

Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald are also names of colors. And only Platinum is a metal. Diamonds are gemstones and Pearls are essentially crystallized clam bile.

As for FireRed and LeafGreen, most colors don't have official names. What's Forest Green in a box of Crayola crayons could be called Leaf Green in a box of Rose Art crayons.
 
This is surely in a new region, though I highly doubt they will let TR return right after HG/SS and thus making TR very repetitive. They will probably bring Team Galactic back with the new leaders being non-Cyrus followers and then Cyrus finds out and returns and stuff like that.
 
No more Team Rocket. Dx It was what I hated most about GSC, recycling an old villain team ignoring the fact I want the mad sexy psychotic Cyrus to return. We need a new team, one that can be more evil and terrifying than the terrorist cult syndicate that is Team Galactic.

And really, how are DPPt and HGSS/GSC happening at the same time? D: You see Jasmine at Sunnyshore City. How can she be in two places at once?

Team Loses-Every-Battle-Ever.

It's quite clear Russia exists in the Pokemon World, so he could revive it, but honestly, I've had enough of Team Rocket. Seriously, they've been in EVERY Gen. They need to be retired.

Why can't we go to a different nation, like the UK, France, America, even China. Why does it always have to be Japan? Pokemon is an international franchise, maybe the location of the games should reflect that.
 
1) FireRed and LeafGreen SHOULD be Crayola colors. I've always wanted crayola to release like limited-edition crayons- FireRed, LeafGreen, Pikachu Yellow, etc... just a thought :)


2) I quite like Team Rocket... their uselessness is... endearing? And got knows, once I realized what Cyrus really wanted, it scared the crap out of me. And I know I'm not alone :p Team Rocket is harmless by comparison.
