It just occurred to me that we never actually had a true female villain (not counting the grunts). The most we've ever had (or as much as I remember) is the admin chick from Team Aqua but other than that - there were all dudes. What do you guys think? Pokémon Black & White were the first games of the franchise to debut a female professor so would you like to see a female character take on the role of the main antagonist?

I'd personally love to see a female villain.

Re: A Female Villain?

There was Domino in the anime, and Mars and Jupiter are pretty major villains.

Re: A Female Villain?

There was Ariana in HG/SS and Mars and Jupiter in D/P/Platinum, but they're weren't mains.

It really would be interesting to see the actual main antagonist be a female though, rather than just a grunt/admin though. Like you said, we finally got a female professor, so it certainly isn't impossible.

*Hopes Ghetsis has an evil grandma*

Ah, I knew I forgot someone. But I primarily meant a villain boss. :p

We had Madame Boss in the anime. Kinda.

Okay not really, but the idea was nice. I'd love to see a female team leader next gen. or have ghetsis turn out to be N's mother in BW2

I rather see a villain boss being the human form of the game's boxart mascot, but a female boss sounds interesting.

I would like a female villain on the next Pokemon game after B2/W2. We've never had one yet, and I bet it'd be pretty interesting. ^_^

Great idea. I'd also want her to have a team of semi-legends (all female of course). Maybe even two bosses:a female boss if protagonist is male and vice versa.

It would be pretty cool. And, it's about time we get one anyway.

Yes absolutely a female Villain Boss is a fantastic idea in my mind. I would like it to be someone that perhaps looks in their late 20's with dark purple atire and maybe a similar look to Pike Queen Lucy.

Well, it took us four generations to finally have a female champion and five generations to have a female professor...so generation six will have a female main villain? =3

Personally, I don't care if the main villain has a dingdong or a fufu; all I care about is whether their story is good. So I don't really care either way, if I'm honest.

I think having a female as a villain would be pretty cool for a change. It worked for having the champion as a female, so why not a main villain?

Nah, I'd rather see a character like WestShore in Shakugan no Shana III -FINAL- (despite WestShore actually being a "good" character). Basically, WestShore talks like she's frightened a lot of the time and says things that completely contradict her actions (like saying to the Crimson Denizens "Stop Fighting and return to the Crimson World. I beg you!" while she is launching a technique that will slaughter the majority of them).

That would be so much more enjoyable than someone like Hunter J.

But villains are supposed to be EVIL - like Ghetsis-evil. Or misguided. Either way, they should be sure of their actions and be smart. Your girly villain is a little too cute to be a villain... XDD

I wouldn't like a villain that's all for money (and power). World domination is just pffft - so old. I'd rather have someone like Vermouth from Detective Conan (Case Closed). She'd be very tricky, and very intelligent, and sometimes provide hints for the player character, but her goal would be something more worse than world domination...

Or is she? It's the fact that she appears so innocent on the outside, yet she also makes no attempt to hide the more sinister nature she actually possesses that makes her even more frightening than a typical "big bad, cackling while stroking a white cat" villain.

A villain can still be as warped (or even more so) than the average villain regardless of the front they put on, but it's that front which makes them more frightening once you realise what's beneath.

True - which is why Hunter J was a bit bland, even though her episodes were pretty good compared to other fillers. Mars would've made a good boss, imo.
