A few problems

1. When I put in a post, the buttons to add an image, URL, etc. do not work. When I click on them it does nothing.
2. On my profile, instead of the tabs on the top for my details and stuff, the are not tabs. They are listed as you go down the page.

1. Hmm... I don't know why that might be.
2. That would mean the page isn't loading properly. Sometimes when I load my profile and my internet is running slowly, I see each tab going down the page until the page fully loads.

Most likely a lot of people are on. I know I had that problem a lot when the TR invasion was going one, which is when huge amounts of people were on and active.

What color is the text box when you go to type? I've had a similar problem that I've discovered is solely due to the editor mode I'm in (something that randomly changed when I switched from a Windows XP computer to a Windows 7 computer). If the box is blue, I know I can't (at least not easily) use the quote, image, etc. buttons. But by clicking the A in the upper right-hand corner of the gray box surrounding the text box, it usually (sometimes it takes a few clicks) switches the text box to white, and I can use everything just fine.

Sounds like you have JavaScript off (Tools -> Settings, then the Content tab, there's a checkbox for JS scripts). If you have the NoScript addon installed, you should have allowed bulbagarden.net as well.
