A few rules questions

1- I have some cards (Leafeon) with an attack that hits 40 pts and says to attach a basic energy from my hand to a pokemon. If I don't have an energy card in hand, can I still use this attack, or do I have to fulfill the elements of the text?

2- What are LV X cards? Are these all the cards that have a pokemon with a number following LV in the title? Ex: Leafeon is LV.49

3- Eevee has an attack called Signs of evolution that requires an "invisible" energy (grey dot with no symbol inside). What's the meaning of this? No energy required?

But to answer:
1) (I assume the card you're talking about is Leafeon (Rising Rivals 45).) I believe you can use the move even if you don't have Grass Energies in your hand, but not sure. Better leave that for someone else to answer.
2) Your answer.
3) "Invisible" energy = no energy needed.
