Ok, me, my brother, and our friend have Pokemon Diamond.

and I have my own action replay game.

so I invented a game;

First of all, we each pick 6 pokemon, on the bottom evolutions, hatch them from Lvl.1 eggs, then raise them, beat the Elite four and when they reach level 60 we have a trio battle.

The rules are:
1) No legendaries, or ubers.
2) No using action replay for ANYTHING apart from catching the 1st pokemon you want
3) Raise them to level 60, no higher or lower.
4) No using one type of pokemon.
5) No using pokemon you catch in the game; you must battle using the pokemon you choose.

There are no time limits.

Why is this an action replay game? This is very possible with cheating.

That's what we're doing. We're using the AR to find the certain pokemon, then get a ditto and breed the eggs.

But why? You have to get through the game anyway, since you still have to defeat the Elite Four (as per your instructions) so why cheat? Why not just catch a Ditto (or a female and a male of the desired species) and hatch them? From what I can see, AR is not necessary at all (especially if you complete the Regional Dex and obtain access to Pal Park, which lets you transfer Pokemon from the Gen III games).

Yes, however, to make it fair we raise the Pokemon from level 1 at the start so it can have proper training through the trainers and the gym and none of the "no EV" excuses.

You can do that without Action Replay. It's not needed at all. Catch the Pokemon the right way, since you need National Dex anyways, then breed them with a ditto you caught rather than hacked, and use the hatched Pokemon. Everything you are doing can be done without action replay.

By catching it. Route 224. It's a daily swarm Pokemon. Not that hard. You can get everything except for Tangela and Tropius in Diamond/Pearl. Though in Platinum they added Tropius/Tangela to the Great Marsh. You could also Pal Park it, then mate it.

Yeah one problem with that, we intend to start the process ASAP and the chances of a Natu swarm tomorrow are slim and that's the only day we are all available to sort this out for the next 3 months :/

Daily Swarm not Natu? Rset your clock to 11:58 pm. Wait two minutes, go in and talk to Dawn/Lucas's sister. Still not Natu? Repeat until it is. I do it all the time. Makes catching dailies way easier and quicker.

I changed the Wooper to a Mudkip by the way
