Ok, so I have this team that I'm pretty happy about, except for two Pokemon I think of replacing, one for sure. Don't worry about natures and EV, I got that covered. Just give me your two cents about my team, and any plans for imperoving it

Also, I plan on replacing Staraptor with Togekiss and Golem with Metagross, though I'm not sure about Metagross, as it's weak to fire.

Anyway, here we go.

* Infernape
-Close Combat
-ThunderPunch
-Fire Punch
-Swords Dance
(Nature Adamant, EVs 252/Attack, 252/Speed, 4/HP)

* Staraptor (Going to replace it for sure)
-Close Combat
-Fly
-Quick Attack
-Brave Bird
(Doesn't really matter, going to replace this one anyway)

* Gyarados
-Ice Fang
-Aqua Tail
-Earthquake
-Dragon Dance
(Nature Adamant, EVs 252/Attack, 252/Speed, 4/HP)

* Electivire
-ThunderPunch
-Low Kick
-Meditate
-Ice Punch
(Nature Adamant, EVs 252/Attack, 252/Speed, 4/Defense)

* Gengar
-Shadow Ball
-Thunderbolt
-Focus Blast
-Destiny Bond
(Nature Modest, EVs 252/Special Attack, 252/Speed, 4/Defense)

* Golem (Thinking of replacing it, though I'm not sure about it)
-Stone Edge
-Double-Edge
-Earthquake
-Rock Polish
(Nature Adamant, EVs 252/Attack, 252/Speed, 4/HP)

I know you got the EVs and Nature covered, but we need to actually see them in order to rate this team successfully.

Read these things before you decide to make a thread here...dear god so many people don't read this crap...

I use it also in-game, but mostly for Wi-Fi battles and Battle Frontier. Fair enough though, I'll remove the "in-game" part from the title.

Ok then, I'll add these too.

Thanks for doing that.

On with the rate:

Definitely replace Golem with Metagross (Steel/Psychic is a better defensive typing than Rock/Ground).

Try this set:
-Agility
-Meteor Mash
-Earthquake
-ThunderPunch/Ice Punch/Explosion
Item: Lum Berry/Leftovers
EVS: 112 HP/252 Atk /12 Def/132 Spe

Replace Gyarados' Aqua Tail with Waterfall (you lose a bit of power, but at least it's consistent)

Infernape should've been Jolly, while Gengar should've been Timid (just saying; this ain't Shoddy).

Regarding Metagross, I guess that if'll use Agility, it'll be a proper replacement. Actually, the set you suggested is just the set I thought of using.

Regarding Gyarados... I don't know, while his attack is really quite high, I'm afraid that replacing it with a weaker (although a bit more accurate) attack will make the difference between OHKO and 2HKO... What do you think?

And regarding Gengar and Infernape's natures... Well, I do agree about Infernape, but I think Gengar is good with it's current nature, as it's quite fast already, but it's Sp. Atk could use the boost.

Thanks for the tips though, they're quite useful.

Sometimes accuracy > power. The low accuracy of a move can sometimes cost you a match (I can see why you went with Ice Fang instead of Stone Edge).

If you want to keep Gengar's Modest nature, then give it a Choice Scarf to let it outspeed faster opponents (and to make up for the speed lost for forgoing Timid) and replace Destiny Bond with Trick, so that you can cripple walls (i.e. Blissey).

Hmmmm... You do have a point there, and Aqua Tail does tend to miss, especially on tight situations. It did cost me one or two matches. Maybe I will replace it.

And believe me, replacing Destiny Bond is not a wise thing to do. It's a match saving move, trust me. Replacing it with anything else is not an option. But, Choice Scarf is not a bad option.

True. If Gengar comes in on low health, it can use that to take the opponent down with it if the opponent decides to finish it off.

A little status and field effects would probably go a long way for this team. For replacing Staraptor with Togekiss, I recommend a ParaFlinch set.

Togekiss@Leftovers
Calm nature
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 HP / 6 Def / 252 SpD
-- Body Slam/Thunder Wave
-- Air Slash
-- Roost/Wish
-- Aura Sphere/Nasty Plot/Substitute

Body Slam or Thunder Wave help spread paralysis around, which can be crippling to a lot of teams. With Serene Grace, Body Slam has a 60% chance of paralysis, and you won't accidentally give, say, Electivire a Motor Drive boost. You're also not lost on paralyzing Ground-types. However, Thunder Wave is usually a little bit more reliable, and since Body Slam is a Gen 3 move tutor, probably also easier to get. Once the foe is paralyzed, Air Slash's new 60% flinch rate can go a long way to wearing down teams. Roost is for healing only Togekiss, or you could put Wish on there for a little more team support. Aura Sphere is mainly for coverage, or you could breed for Nasty Plot in order to make Air Slash more powerful. Sub will just protect you from status.

Trust me, this thing is a PAIN to take down, even with physical moves. Plus, the added bonus of paralysis means your team will outspeed a lot of things it wouldn't normally, and since you seem to be very offensive-oriented, this is critical. Plus, it leaves Metagross free to forgo Agility in favor of Stealth Rock, with I think would also greatly benefit this team.
