So I was wondering if you already bought one the a versions (pre-ordered a copy or plan on buying it in the near future when it comes out in Europe), what version did you opt for and why? Did you get Soul Silver or Heart Gold and what did you base this choice on?
Was it because Lugia just looks cooler than Ho-Oh on the cartridge/box art or vice versa? Was it for the sake of nostalgia because you got Gold/Silver when you were young? Was it a tactical deliberation based on the earlier availability of Lugia or Ho-Oh to complement your team (choosing Totodile in HG or Cyndaquil in SS for example)? Was it the version exclusive pokemon available in one of the two versions? Was it because Soul Silver just sounds that much better than Heart Gold? Or was your reason none of the ones listed above?
I would be really intrigued/interested your reasoning behind your choices, so please share
