A Hoenn Revisit

I was thinking, for the R/S/E remake, instead of it being a remake or a sequel, it should be a remake where you can visit Johto and Sinnoh.

This is because Hoenn is set 3 years before those two, so it could be like prequel for those two. It would also fit together nicely if you could visit Kanto in the new games, as all the regions would be visitable in the Generation.
 
eh...too much in one game, i think, without having to compromise things like the story or anything.

Uh, no thanks. If they were going to make the regions as good as they could then they're gonna be scrapping a lot of other things, I'm afraid.

Plus, it isn't a remake if it is that different from the original games.
 
It would be interesting if after completing the main game in your current region, you could go to Hoenn to do things however.

This. Because...

1. We haven't been to Hoenn since Emerald.
2. HG/SS just released, thus exposing a whole new generation of Pokemon fans to the concept of going to another region and collecting its badges for a total of 16.
 
As I said in another thread, we should have a Hoenn visit, my brother played Emerald ( Bad spelling ) and I didn't have the chance to as I was too busy, I would love to visit Hoenn, when I get Heartgold I will have visited every region except from Hoenn and that will annoy me.
 
I would love a hoenn remake. I think they're gonna do that too this is why. They did a remake of R/B/Y that had entei, suicune, and raikou in it. Then they came out with a new generation. Now the're coming out with a remake of G/S/C with the kyogre, groudon, and rayquaza. And then they're coming out with a new generation. Makes sense doesn't it?

Just stick to the classic remakes, not the sequals certain people rather want, but just R/S remakes.
 
Absolutely. I thought about this before, and it would be great. I'd love seeing new graphics and new characters. The animations back then were old.

No, they were new back then.
A Hoen re-visit would be nice and please let it trade freely whit games from gen V/IV that are set at a different time than RGBY, maybe that will make people stop screaming all over that RBGY and RSE happens at the same time.
 
Yes. They were new back then. However, we consider it as old now. We also need animations for Gym battles, and rival battles. That's what I call new. They should also add lots of new music. Pokeblocks should return too, beside Poffins.
 
If you can remake an old game, e.g, Chrono trigger SNES - DS It won't be hard to add a region.
 
The three past regions in the game would be too much for one game, and some already had their re-visit, so NO

A hoenn revisit would be great... also it will be cool than the new region would be bigger...

Bring back Hoenn, and introduce them to Poffins. D: I loved making Poffins, but I guess that's because I love to bake in real life...
 
Poffins is just a cheap way to mke your pokemon happy after you been to the Ribbon Syndicate and the massage Lady in Veilstone, besides going up and down Solaceon town on your bike.

Yeah, bring back poffins.
