It was a warm morning, as Reece woke up in his house in pallet town. He had inherited one of two houses in the village when his grandma passed. It was the day of his 19th birthday, and he had decided that he was gonna see if there was anyone around the town to chat with, maybe go to the city with...
 
Kiki looked around here room making sure she had everything. Bag, food, fish, it was all here. She graved her bag, tossed it over her shoulder, and walked out the door.
 
Kiki looked around on the way to the lab another boy was standing there, seeming to be waiting. She walked over to him.

"Hi," she said, "Are you getting your starter today too?"

Reece turned around at the girl "oh, hey there." he smiled, " what, we can get one for free? I thought the day was in two weeks time?"
 
OOC: oops, different RP

"No," Kiki said "I think It's today."
 
"I'm kiki" She said, taking his hand. "I turned 17 a few months ago."
 
"Sure" Kiki said as she opened up the door and walked into the Lab.
 
Reece followed her in, and saw professor oak at the end of the laboratory "Excuse me, professor, I heard that we can get a starter pokemon today? I'm Reece, and this is Kiki."
 
OOC: You ok with the three basic starters?

"Oh, Yes" The professor said as he saw them enter. "I've been expecting you" He walked over to a lab table and pressed a button. Three white and red balls appeared. "Which one would you like?"
 
Ooc:I don't mind what starters we have, I'll let you choose first:)

Reece saw the balls come up, "professor, what pokemon are in there?" he said pointing at them
 
"These balls have Charmander, the fire type Pokemon, Bulbasaur the grass type Pokemon, and Squirtle the water type Pokemon" The professor said. "You each get to pick one"

"I'll take the water type one" kiki said as she took Squirtle's ball. "Your turn"
 
"I'll take charmander, he looks tough" he said as he grabbed the ball to the left. "is there anything else we need professor?"
 
"I'm glad you asked" Oak said "Here is a Pokedex for each of you," as he handed the two a small red box. "It has data on most Pokemon recorded, and here are five Pokeballs, Which you will need for catching Pokemon." He handed then the balls.

"Thanks" kiki said. "Anything else?"

"That's all" He said. "You guys can go now."
 
Reece took the pokedex "awesome!cheers! " he cleared his throat, "sorry, Thankyou very much professor you can count on us"

With that, they walked outside of the lab, where Reece let his charmander out "come on out!"
 
After seeing Reece let let Pokemon out of it's ball she did the same to hers. The Squirtle popped out. "I shall call you Bubble." The water type gave her a look before walking over to inspect the Charmander.
 
"a cute name" Reece said, and his charmander gave a curious look at bubble. He pulled out his pokedex, and whilst looking up charmander, noticed that his had a dark stripe along it's back... "hehe, stripe" he chuckled to himself, to which charmander copied
 
"Well," Kiki said as she picked up Bubble "Shall we be going?"
