I've been playing the Pokemon games since grade school. I still have the first version I ever played, as well as those I slowly collected over the years as I watched each game become more sophisticated. Not only that, I've also slowly collected the cards that had come out too. Playing with the original rulings of the game itself, I tended to lose more often then not. But had fun playing the card game. Though I stopped playing it after my only gaming partner got tired of it. So instead I collected the cards as opposed to playing with them, and became a card collector. So far, I've counted over 1,000 cards within my collection. And personally: I've a LONG ways to go before it is ever completed. But that's what makes it fun, right? =) Anyways....the games are just as fun. Now, I play the game more often then collecting the cards themselves. But on occasion I will go out and buy a pack of cards to see what is in it. After all, it's the fun of finding the specific ones, and the common ones that can be fun as well.
