A little sprite I made

Out of boredom I decided to make a clearer version of the female trainer's sprite based on the Pokemon Center screenshot.

Of course I can make my own prediction of what her english name may be. I was thinking along the lines of Tanya or Kirsty.

A few of the pixels didn't make much sense to me since I'm not sure what she's wearing, but it IS pixel by pixel so it's accurate.

I want to wait until we get Sugimori art before I render a fair judgment, but she looks alright so far. I like her hair and the fact that she's wearing a baseball cap.
I really hope she's wearing pants though.

I didn't seem any physical similarites between May and Dawn, so I thought, "Hey, cool! We get a new character." Except we really didn't.

And don't get me started on when May joined.

I think her sprite makes her look like she has a beard, but I don't really care. I stick with the male character regardless. I just hope they stick with DPPt's formula of making the non-chosen gender your pseudo-rival and give them the starter that is weak to yours.
