this morning I attempted to check the dratini I put on the GTS last night before I went to sleep and everytime I try to get in, it shows I have a full signal for WiFi and then right as it should log me in, it turns to zero bars and it tells me I haven't any signal. I got on support.nintendo.com but it didn't help. Could any humans out there give me actual advice??

Someone on GameFAQs told me to delete and retype the Wi-Fi settings when I had thee same problem. I'm assuming you mean when it says, "Communication error. You have been disconnected from Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. For more help, visit support.nintendo.com. Error code: 61020".

It'd help if you told which error code it is. I get 20100 and 5???? (can't remember exactly) pretty often, but they are just random annoyances which go away by trying to log in enough times.

I ALWAYS get those. What I do is just unplug my Wi-Fi output box, wait a few minutes, try to go to Wi-Fi again. It usually works, but...

what is a wifi box? I live in an apartment and when new neighbors moved in, suddenly we had wifi. So am I stealing wifi then?

I think it has something to do with ethernet? But overall, I would just wait awhile to see if the Wi-Fi status changes. OR, go to your game's Wi-Fi settings and try to reconnect.

so how does one check the wifi settings? Sorry, relatively new at wifi

1. Turn on DS
2. Click on the pokemon game
3. Click past the title screen
4. When you get to the screen that says: continue, new game, etc. Click on "NINTENDO WFC SETTINGS"
5. Click on the "connection settings"
BUT! If you still have the instruction guide to your DS and/or pokemon video game card, it should have something similar to those instuctions (minus steps 1-3) I typed above.
Hope some of this helped! :mail:
