Chocobo said:Side Note: I got the idea for this RP while browsing Bulbapedia's pages on the Brass and Tin Towers, though much of the plot is my own creativity ^.^
Plot:
Hundreds of years ago, in Ecruteak City, two towers stood tall and strong. They were the Brass Tower and the Tin Tower, and were the perches of the legendary Lugia and elusive Ho-oh respectively. The two pokemon were the guardians of Johto and protected the people from all outside evil.
That is, until war broke out. War caused the destruction of the Brass Tower. Lugia then fled to the seas, terrified and displeased with the humans, Ho-oh, though his tower was unscathed, was saddened deeply by all the humans had caused and hasn't been seen in Ecruteak City ever since. All this was the stuff of legends- stories that annoyed mothers told their children to make them go to sleep at night- until now.
Things had been going great until a few weeks ago. Unknown to the citizens of Johto, Lugia, who had long been dormant at the bottom of the ocean, has gone mad. Any time he sees a ship, a human, or sometimes even a pokemon, he attacks in a blind rage. Very few have survived encounters with him, and those who have are still in shock and unable to say anything about the matter that sounds even remotely logical, or are comatose. Ergo, the humans have no idea of what caused the shipwrecks or why some swimmers and pokemon have gone missing. Why is Lugia doing this, you ask? He may be ill, or he could be trying to wreak his revenge on humans for destroying his home, but whatever it is, it has to stop soon. No importing or exporting goods by water is possible, so this situation will get out of hand very quickly if it isn't solved.
That's where Ho-oh comes in. Unlike the humans, Ho-oh knows exactly what is causing the trouble, but like the humans, he needs to find a solution (he feels responsible for his old friend Lugia :3). He decides that a pokemon trainer (that loves his/her pokemon and can keep cool under pressure) would be the best for the job, but not just any trainer. It has to be one that was unaffected by the shipwrecks. That way, they're less likely to want to hurt Lugia. So, how will this all turn out? Well, my friend, that is up to you to decide.
(Humerous) Summary: Lugia got a little stir-crazy and went on a rampage. It's Ho-oh's job to set him straight, but instead of confronting him on his own, he decides that a human small enough to fit in Lugia's mouth would be PERFECT for the job!
Rules:
-No Godmodding/Powerplaying.
-Make all pokemon battles fair. Unless your pokemon are extremely more experienced than your opponent, your pokemon should get hit at least once during a battle. Making your pokemon get hit makes the battle more fun anyway! ^.^
-Post at least a paragraph (5 sentences) per post. If this site were mainly a roleplaying forum, I'd make the limit higher, but it's not, so it would be too much to ask any more. I've been on sites that have posts that look like novels, but you don't need to go to those lengths. I only require proper grammar and enough description so that we know what your character is doing.
-Use your common sense, people! Just because I didn't list a basic rule doesn't mean that it doesn't apply. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask me.
-New Rule: Only three posts per person a day, to prevent post craziness and loss of plot. This limit will expand when something major is going on. When a battle occurs, PM each other and one of you save the

Here's Instrutilus-created plot to get things kicked off, non-canon unless Chocobo says, but it's just to give an idea the damage:
It was a ferocious night. The boat was rocked back and forth by the ever-growing waves that threatened to consume the ocean liner. Sailors ran back and forth with Machop and Machoke by their side as the waves swept over the deck, threatening to drag them away at any given time. One of the sailors ran up the steel steps to the bridge of the ship.
“Captain, the storm is too dangerous, we need to get out soon or we’ll not make it!” the sailor called to the old captain, who was desperately trying to steer the ship out of the storm, to no avail…until it suddenly went calm. Looking out, the sky was clear, the waves calm and clouds circling the area. They had entered the eye of the storm without even seeing it coming.
Things seemed to be alright as the sailors began quickly repairing the damage they could reach on the ship, but the captain felt something was amiss. Something wasn’t right in the eye, especially since rumours circulated about their present point about how many ships were mysteriously destroyed with near no survivors from all added up. Then he heard it. A bone-chilling cry coming from beneath and it sounded enraged. A whirlpool began forming around them and the captain sprang into action, trying to get the ship away quickly, but it was too late as the ship was sucked into the vortex.
Inside, the captain watched as the sailors and Pokémon on deck were swept away, never to be seen again, before looking into the abyss and seeing it, the silhouette of the Legendary Bird of the Sea. The silhouette made a motion as if it were raising its head, before a light shone where the Legendary Birds mouth would be located. The silhouette swiftly lowered its head, where an Aeroblast shot through the ship, destroying it immediately. No survivors were ever found…
Five Months Later.
