Side Note: I got the idea for this RP while browsing Bulbapedia's pages on the Brass and Tin Towers, though much of the plot is my own creativity ^.^

Plot:

Hundreds of years ago, in Ecruteak City, two towers stood tall and strong. They were the Brass Tower and the Tin Tower, and were the perches of the legendary Lugia and elusive Ho-oh respectively. The two pokemon were the guardians of Johto and protected the people from all outside evil.

That is, until war broke out. War caused the destruction of the Brass Tower. Lugia then fled to the seas, terrified and displeased with the humans, Ho-oh, though his tower was unscathed, was saddened deeply by all the humans had caused and hasn't been seen in Ecruteak City ever since. All this was the stuff of legends- stories that annoyed mothers told their children to make them go to sleep at night- until now.

Things had been going great until a few weeks ago. Unknown to the citizens of Johto, Lugia, who had long been dormant at the bottom of the ocean, has gone mad. Any time he sees a ship, a human, or sometimes even a pokemon, he attacks in a blind rage. Very few have survived encounters with him, and those who have are still in shock and unable to say anything about the matter that sounds even remotely logical, or are comatose. Ergo, the humans have no idea of what caused the shipwrecks or why some swimmers and pokemon have gone missing. Why is Lugia doing this, you ask? He may be ill, or he could be trying to wreak his revenge on humans for destroying his home, but whatever it is, it has to stop soon. No importing or exporting goods by water is possible, so this situation will get out of hand very quickly if it isn't solved.

That's where Ho-oh comes in. Unlike the humans, Ho-oh knows exactly what is causing the trouble, but like the humans, he needs to find a solution (he feels responsible for his old friend Lugia :3). He decides that a pokemon trainer (that loves his/her pokemon and can keep cool under pressure) would be the best for the job, but not just any trainer. It has to be one that was unaffected by the shipwrecks. That way, they're less likely to want to hurt Lugia. So, how will this all turn out? Well, my friend, that is up to you to decide.

(Humerous) Summary:
Lugia got a little stir-crazy and went on a rampage. It's Ho-oh's job to set him straight, but instead of confronting him on his own, he decides that a human small enough to fit in Lugia's mouth would be PERFECT for the job!

Rules:

-No Godmodding/Powerplaying.
-Make all pokemon battles fair. Unless your pokemon are extremely more experienced than your opponent, your pokemon should get hit at least once during a battle. Making your pokemon get hit makes the battle more fun anyway! ^.^
-Post at least a paragraph (5 sentences) per post. If this site were mainly a roleplaying forum, I'd make the limit higher, but it's not, so it would be too much to ask any more. I've been on sites that have posts that look like novels, but you don't need to go to those lengths. I only require proper grammar and enough description so that we know what your character is doing.
-Use your common sense, people! Just because I didn't list a basic rule doesn't mean that it doesn't apply. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask me.
-New Rule: Only three posts per person a day, to prevent post craziness and loss of plot. This limit will expand when something major is going on. When a battle occurs, PM each other and one of you save the

in a word document or something, then post it to adhere to the limit. Sorry if this bothers anyone, but I'm tightening things until Chocobo can get back to this.

Pre-made Characters said:
The Immature Hero = Superx
The Trainer = Chocobo (Instrutilus until control is returned.)
The Sailor = TheLostHero
The Enraged = Arcario
The Peace-Keeper = X-Scissor

Here's Instrutilus-created plot to get things kicked off, non-canon unless Chocobo says, but it's just to give an idea the damage:

It was a ferocious night. The boat was rocked back and forth by the ever-growing waves that threatened to consume the ocean liner. Sailors ran back and forth with Machop and Machoke by their side as the waves swept over the deck, threatening to drag them away at any given time. One of the sailors ran up the steel steps to the bridge of the ship.

“Captain, the storm is too dangerous, we need to get out soon or we’ll not make it!” the sailor called to the old captain, who was desperately trying to steer the ship out of the storm, to no avail…until it suddenly went calm. Looking out, the sky was clear, the waves calm and clouds circling the area. They had entered the eye of the storm without even seeing it coming.

Things seemed to be alright as the sailors began quickly repairing the damage they could reach on the ship, but the captain felt something was amiss. Something wasn’t right in the eye, especially since rumours circulated about their present point about how many ships were mysteriously destroyed with near no survivors from all added up. Then he heard it. A bone-chilling cry coming from beneath and it sounded enraged. A whirlpool began forming around them and the captain sprang into action, trying to get the ship away quickly, but it was too late as the ship was sucked into the vortex.

Inside, the captain watched as the sailors and Pokémon on deck were swept away, never to be seen again, before looking into the abyss and seeing it, the silhouette of the Legendary Bird of the Sea. The silhouette made a motion as if it were raising its head, before a light shone where the Legendary Birds mouth would be located. The silhouette swiftly lowered its head, where an Aeroblast shot through the ship, destroying it immediately. No survivors were ever found…

Five Months Later.

Ricky soared down to the Radio Tower and scanned the city from above. People were marveling as his beautiful Shining Charizard beat his black flames above the city. Lucario, sitting behind Ricky, shook his head. "I guess that means he's not here. Yes, we beat A.D.!" Ricky exclaimed as they landed outside the Radio Tower and returned his Charizard to his ball. "Hmm, I wonder if there are any trainers to battle here today?" Ricky looked to his Lucario. The two were the same height now.

"Hey come back!" yelled Michael, chasing Toxic, who was chasing an now very freaked out Shinx she wanted to be friends with, it ran past Lucario and Ricky, causing Toxic to crash into Lucarion's legs. Michael ran up. "Sorry, I didn't mean for that to happen, she's really friendly."

Lucario bent down to pat Toxic. "Oh its not a problem. We have a knack for finding trouble." Ricky chuckled

OOC: aren't you going to redo the sign up since the main charaters don't logg on much BTW I'm changing my name to Zashque because it is easier to remember

Zashque was heading towards the mysterious Ecruteak city, he had heard numerous rumours about this place being haunted by some legendary pokemon, he had been anxiously waiting to see if he could shed any light on this rumour and to capture his sixth gym badge. On his side was he trusty black Raichu who Zashque nicknamed Static and his friendly Umbreon whom his mother had given to Zashque as a present. Zashque glanced at a nearby sign, "we should be there about an hour after dusk guys" stated Zashque his pokemon had mixed feelings, his Umbreon stayed as quite as ever and gave a silent nod, his Raichu, on the other hand, had a slight smirk on his face.

Zashque arrived in the torn apart city, the city was all over the place, he noticed Officer Jenny guiding people to a nearby pokemon centre. Zashque followed the directions until he reached the pokemon centre. There were numerous of Chanseys pacing the white tiles of the building. "This is going to be a long day" whispered Zashque under his breath as he took a seat on a nearby bench.

Toxic seemed to purr a little, happy to finally meet a pokemon that doesn't run.

"Toxic likes to try to make friends, but most pokemon don't like her smell all well." said Michael.

Zashque grabbed a hot chocolate and left the pokemon centre, he took a right turn unto an alleyway where he saw two fellow pokemon trainers, Zashque sipped his hot drink and approahed them, "hey guys, I'm Zashque what's your names? And wow what a smell" greeted Zashque making conversation

"I'm Michael." said Michael. "Do you mean Toxic? My Stunky?" he asked. "She does kinda stink but she's sweet."

"woah sorry about that! I didn't mean to hurt her feelings" confessed Zashque, "hey do any of you guys know where the lake is? I heard some rumours about there being a legendary pokemon down there and wanted to check it out"

"Don't worry, she doesn't even realize it really." said Michael. "She just wonders why other pokemon run away, hurts her feelings a little." he said. "About the lake, yeah, I know where it is."

"Oh hey. I'm Ricky" Ricky had zoned out for a second. "Nice to meet you both." Hey, why don't we all go down to the lake" Charizard nodded down in approval, then raised his head and blew black flames sky-high.

"Hey Rick! awesome Charizard!" commented Zashque rubbing the black, rough underbelly of the immense Charizard "When do you guys want to leave? I'm ready whenever you say go!" stated Zashque as he leaned against a moist wall his Umbreon sat besides his right shin while his black Raichu attempted to get acquainted with the Charizard and Stunky despite the terrible smell of the stunky and the incredible height of the Charizard.

Toxic licked the Raichu, trying to be friendly.

"Yeah, really cool, shiny pokemon." said Michael, smiling. "Awsome!" he saied. "But yeah, I'll take you to the lake."

Zashque pulled his hood on and got of the wall, "let's leave now then" announced Zashaque signalling for Micheal to lead the way

Michael nodded. "Should we leave the pokemon out or recall them?" he asked. "Its up to you."

"Lets just leave 'em out." Ricky started walking, Charizard flying overhead.

"I'll leave one of my pokemon in" announced Zashque "He won't be bothered to walk" Zashque muttered to himself as he pulled out three pokeballs "Go Grovyle! Ditto! and Shellgon! Come on out!" announced Zashque as the 3 pokemon stood out "Lets get moving!"

Michael lead the way, Toxic walking next to them and trying to talk to the new pokemon that appeared, wanting to be friendly. "I've only got two pokemon, Toxic here, and my starter Pokemon, a Chikorita."

"Wow bummer, you guys trainers then?" questioned Zashque as he pulled out his badge case from his trouser pocket "These are my badges" stated Zashque, opening the case revealing his five badges, he sighed thinking about the hardships he went through to achieve the badges. "how long left?" thoght Zashque to himself, tension slowly riding as they got closer to the lake.
