Hi there! My name is Mystical Flareon; but you may call me Mystic, Flareon, or Syd.

I've been interested in Pokemon since I was a little kid. I remember watching the anime first, and then playing Pokemon Yellow (relatively) shortly after. I became obsessed with it! I collected as much merchandise as I could; I watched the anime on a regular basis and saw the first four films in theaters; and, of course, I played the video games.

As an adult, I can safely say that I am still obsessed with Pokemon, though not to the same extent that I was when I was younger. I wouldn't be here if that wasn't the case!
I still collect a fair amount of merchandise for the franchise, but I'm more picky about what I buy and what I don't. Occasionally, I will still watch the anime, but I'm more prone to rewatching old episodes and movies than I am to watching the new ones. The games are a major part of why I'm interested in Pokemon. If we're going by generation, as opposed to the number of games, then I have played through all of the main Pokemon games to date. I, also, love the Mystery Dungeon games.

Outside of Pokemon, my interested are pretty geeky otherwise.
I'm a furry, and I've been in the community since '09. Animation is one of my main interests; and I'm into both old-school and modern animation. I love to draw, and I especially love drawing cartoon anthros. I'm computer-savvy, but more on the Mac side. I love learning about different sexualities, genders, disabilities, spiritualities, and other stuff like that. Etc.

I think that's about it! I hope to have a good time here!

Welcome! I don't think that those interests are geeky at all, I think that's really cool (I can't draw to save my life haha, but I respect those that can!). I hope you like it around here.

Hello Mystical Flareon, welcome to BMG! :)

Be sure to check out URPG if you're a huge fan of Pokémon. It's like a multifaceted game based on the Pokémon saga and is kind of similar to a simulator, except that you start from scratch on your adventure and you're able to partake in battles without the 4-move limit that the game restricts you to. And we don't use simulators as well! Actual qualified referees ref the battle and calculate the damage for you. Do join in on our quirky and fun-loving community!
