A No-Item Room for Online Battles

Maybe it's because I don't know how to make the most of items, or maybe it's because I like the "pure" idea of relying on the pokemon itself and not the burn orb that caused the Ursaring to rampage my team in 4 hits, but I don't like items. Would anybody else use an online room where items weren't allowed? I'd probably still lose, but then I can only blame the pokemon and not the choice scarf or leftovers.

This thread would do better in the Battle Center. I honestly think a No-Item room would be dumb. Items have been part of the game since the beginning and helpful since 3rd gen. Maybe you and your opponent could agree on a no-Item battle.

Technically, Held Items have only been around since 2nd Gen~

Technically, Held Items have only been around since 2nd Gen~

Like I said, only helpful since 3rd Gen. Only useful item in Gen 2 was Leftovers.
