Hello there! This is not my first fanfic, but it is the my first on this site. It is rated PG12 due to the use of a single swear word. Yeah, kind of pointless, I know. I will just be making a one-shot short story in hope for some reviews that I can use to help my future writing. So basically, I whipped this somewhat odd story up about the pokemon pictured in my signature. Please review this.
A One-Shot Tale of Team StarTrekkers
"Pokemon detected! Pokemon detected! Whose footprint? Whose footprint? The footprint is charmander's! The footprint is charmander's! You are welcome visitor, but there is someone with you. Please stand on the grate.
A dinosaur-like orange pokemon with a flaming tail stepped off the grate and toward the door, waiting for his friend to come up and stand on the grate he had just left. His friend was a green pokemon with a darker tail and red underbelly, but both of them were dressed in shirts with silver, arch-like symbols on them. The shirt being worn by the orange pokemon was yellow, while the one on the green pokemon was blue. Silently, the green pokemon walked up and placed his feet on the wooden grate and waited.
"Pokemon detected! Pokemon detected! Whose footprint? Whose footprint? The footprint is treeko's! The footprint is treeko's! Come on in the both of you!"
Just a second later, the huge metal gate over the entrance to the guild began to open and the two pokemon walked in, still without speaking. After entering, the treeko and the charmander found themselves in a small room with a board of rhyming rules and a spiraling ladder that led underground. After picking their way down the ladder, the two arrived in the room they were looking for- it was filled with exploration teams and contained two large boards covered in job listings and wanted posters. But before the team could head over to one, a bird-like pokemon with blue and yellow wings hopped up to them.
"You are the two who came in just now right? Well welcome to Wigglytuff's guild, what is your business here?" The bird pokemon had an edgy and unwelcoming tone despite what he had said.
The charmander was the one to respond. "We are an exploration team, Team StarTrekkers. I am Kirk and my partner is Spock, and we are here simply to check for any jobs that need doing. We will be off as soon as we find one."
"Very well then, but, I have a question first- why does er, Spock, have such unusually large eyebrows?"
After a rapid glance at his friend, Kirk began to speak again. "You are free to believe what I say or not. But, Spock is a pokemon from another planet, so he looks different from ones that live here." In response to what his friend had said, Spock nodded in approval.
"Uhh... okay. Well, if you are looking for a job, go ahead, and good luck." With that, the bird pokemon left back down the spiral ladder that led deeper into the guild.
Mere seconds after the bird was gone, Kirk and Spock wandered over to the outlaw notice board, for it seemed to have more available jobs. The charmander Kirk looked over the board quickly, paying attention only to the pictures of the pokemon. One caught his eye and so he pulled it down and read it over.
WANTED: PIKACHU
NAME: UNKNOWN
REWARD: 5000P
DUNGEON: MT. HORN
CRIME: THIEVERY AND POSSIBLY MURDER
PICTURE: Here was included a somewhat blurry picture of a pikachu with unusual ridges along its forehead and minimal, if any, fur in that area. It was these ridges that had caught Kirk's eye.
"Hey Spock, this pikachu doesn't look like its from Earth does it."
Spock the treeko took his eyes off of the paper he was currently reading and looked over the one that Kirk was now holding out. "That is a logical assumption. It appears as if this pikachu is a Klingon pokemon. It would be logical for us to go after this outlaw."
"My thoughts exactly. Lets go!"

Mount Horn was unusually tall compared to the others in its area and had a trecherous feel to it that scared away a few light-hearted explorers. But team StarTrekkers, armed only with their clothing and odd mechanical items they held in their hands trodded upto and onto the mountain without showing a wink of fear.
The path they took was not very long, and inhabited by a wide variety of pokemon, all of which hid or stood staring when they saw the oddly dressed and armed team StarTrekkers pass by. A few plants like grasses grew on the mountainside, but these became fewer and fewer as the group neared the peak where hopefully they would find the Klingon pikachu.
At last the top could be seen- a rocky clearing surrounded by sharp and unscalable peaks and a patch of grass where a pikachu with a ridged forhead was fiddling with some items next to a severely wrecked green starship.
"That's certainly the guy we're looking for." Whispered Kirk. "Time to arrest an outlaw."
With utmost silence, the two progressed across the clearing until they were within firing distance. From there the members of team StarTrekkers took out their odd mechanical items and pulled the triggers, releasing a powerful and lethal beam of light. But the pikachu had noticed just in time and was able to zap the phasers out of power before their destructive beams could even reach him. Now it was time for plan B.
Opening his mouth, Kirk released a jet of fire that the Klingon pikachu avoided by dodging to the left. Not wanting to give up on his fire attack yet, Kirk followed the pokemon with his stream of flame and badly singed pikachu's tail and rear end. By this time, Kirk was out of breath and needed some time to recover, so he stepped a side and let Spock have a turn fighting pikachu.
Spock immediately got up close to the yellow pokemon while it was still resting from having to run from the fire. From there, Spock used a giga drain attack to suck what little energy was left in pikachu's body away and use it to heal himself of the minor injuries he pocessed.
With a final gasp of breath, the Klingon pikachu lifted its head before collapsing on the ground from lack of energy. Seeing that the job was done, Kirk walked up to Spock and the pokemon he had fainted. The charmander picked up the items that pikachu had stolen and then turned to Spock.
"I'm good with these, but I need you to take him in. Looks like we've got a job well done. Let's get back to the guild."

Back at the Guild, officer Magnezone was ready to take the Klingon pikachu off of Spock's hands and give the team the reward of 5000P.
"BZZZT! I WILL TAKE THE STOLEN ITEMS BACK TO THEIR PROPER OWNERS. BZZZT! YOU ALL HAVE A NICE DAY. BZZZT!" Having said all he needed, officer Magnezone turned around and headed off.
"Oh, so you two completed a mission eh? Good job!"
Kirk and Spock whipped around to see the bird pokemon whose name, they now remembered, was Chatot staring at them with an odd expression.
"Yeah," said Kirk, "and we got a lot of money from it too."
"Oh yes, about that. Since you used a job that was posted here at the guild, most of the money you earned belongs to the guild." Saying this, Chatot pulled the money out of Kirks hands and sorted through it, giving back a much smaller amount. "Your earnings come out to this; 500P."
Spock looked over the money with a quick glance and then back up at Chatot. "It seems illogical that the guild should take ninety percent of the earnings for playing such a small part in the arrest."
Kirk agreed. "Yeah, goddamnit! Now how are we supposed to buy those dilythium crystals?!"
