I know this may be a stupid question, but why doesn't Gold ever enter a league tournament? I understant Ruby's case, but it would seem that Gold would want to become champion. So why didn't he sign up?
He may have after the end of the GSC chapter - but personally I think it would have been jumping the shark - the grand finale had already been done and finished.
