What pokemon can be found by talking to Mr. Backlot, and what can be found without speaking to him?

Thx

So it's not possible to get any of those PKMN unless Backlot says so?

You can also get the previous day's Pokemon, but they're at least as rare as the current one.

And no, a couple of them are available elsewhere. Just look up their entries in Serebii's Pokedex, it's not hard.

For some reason Mr. Backlot isn't changing the pokemon.
Can anyone tell me the reason why?

It's once a day. Once he says what Pokemon's there, it's there for the day.

Not exactly. :p You can only change the pokemon (at most) once per day, but if you choose not to talk to Backlot, the pokemon in the garden will stay the same until you do. Consider the following scenario:

Day 1: Backlot tells you that a Meowth kissed him.
Pokemon in Garden: Meowth

Day 2: Backlot tells you that an Eevee kissed him.
Pokemon in Garden: Meowth, Eevee

Day 3: Backlot tells you that Marril kissed him.
Pokemon in the garden: Eevee, Marril

Day 4: You don't talk to Backlot.
Pokemon in the garden: Eevee, Marril.

It will continue in the same fashion. Every time you talk to backlot, you will drop off the previous instance's pokemon, and will add the new one to the garden. It lasts indefinitely if you want it to; I've had Eevee in my garden for well over a month now, lol (darn evil garden isn't very good for chaining...).

Also, if you don't like what Backlot chooses, there's a trick to getting what you want. If you want to have a specific pokemon in the garden, just save in front of Backlot before you talk to him. Then, talk to him. If he doesn't say what you want, reset the game and try again. It randomizes every time, so in a while, you'll get the one you want. Be warned that his long speech gets on one's nerves VERY quickly though, lol.

No, I mean that he isn't changing AT ALL. It's been two days since I last spoke to him. Also, my berries aren't growing, the swarm locations aren't changing, etc.

(REALLY ANNOYING!!!)

Is your DS' internal clock still keeping the correct time? Pokemon Diamond and Pearl's clock runs off the DS clock, or at least updates themselves from it when you load the game.

It works now. I think someone fiddled with the clock. Thanks a lot, for a minute there I thought that the DS had stuffed up completely!
