A question for those who own the Japanese version of the first Pokemon movie on DVD

I dig out the box with my dvds tomorrow and will double check for you.

I've often wondered what the reasoning behind that clip was supposed to be. Was the film originally meant to have some manner of dream sequence where the future was pictured? And if so, why does the Harbor Woman look exactly the same?
 
No, this is not on the DVD. It apparently was never on a DVD. There was a video of that trailer on youtube a while back and I really wonder where it came from. Perhaps one of the two Japanese VHSes had it. Or someone got ahold of the film roll and converted it from that ... who knows.

Edit: Another possibility is that it came from the LD. I have it here, but I don't have an LD player.
