A question regarding shiny pokemon

Hello, I'm new here and I'll be getting the two new games for Christmas. I had afew questions. Do shiny pokemon evolve into shiny pokemon? For instance, if I have a shiny Charmander, will it become a shiny Charizard eventually?

I'm not sure if I should have posted this here or in the video games section. Sorry.

Yes, shiny Pokemon do evolve into their shiny evolutions.
