A Sims 3 RP, anyone?

Hey, everybody! I've seen over the past few weeks that there are way more Sims fans on this site than I thought. In the RP section, several Sim-related RPs have been created.

However, all of the previously mentioned RPs have been about the side-games of the series. I want to create an RP that would focus on the sandbox-y aspect of the original Sims games, i.e. The Sims 1-3. My question for all of you RPers/Simmers out there is whether you'd actually enjoy an RP like this.

Would we create our own family at the beginning of this RP, or would we, like, get married to and have kids with other Rpers?

Also, would we have the oppurtunity of creating our own homes?

Lastly, could we use some of the gameplay experiences from the Sims 2, such as, having pets, running a buissness you can actually visit, being able to follow your Sim around to stores, and actually pick things off the shelf, etc.

Maybe, but I don't own The Sims to miss out on the opportunity. Although I suppose they could show me a floor plan...

Yes. Pets is coming soon to The Sims 3, and rabbitholes wouldn't work too well in an RP.
