Alright, so this is my first Pokemon based story. ^-^;
I just started playing Pearl, so I'm going to write a story based off of the game. So, this is a fan-fiction, but not exactly.
Well, enjoy.

Chapter One
Mysteries From Night
What's the emergency?
"...And that ends our report on "The Search For the Red Gyarados". Join us next time!" The television's report had ended. There was apparently a Red Gyardados living somewhere in Johto.
"Maybe I'll go to Johto someday." A young girl of the age of ten said to herself. She sat in front of her television, all dressed up as if going on an adventure. She stood up quickly, bringing her hands to fists. A smile crossed her face as she stared at a poster on the wall, next to a framed picture. The framed picture was a woman, who looked a lot like the girl. Same hair color, same skin color, and same enthusiastic stance. There was a Pokemon with the woman; a gracious Glaceon.
The girl felt so proud of herself. Today was the day. The biggest day of her life. She ran over to the computer in the corner of her room and grabbed the teal bag hanging from the back of the chair. She then turned around and ran to the stairs, connecting her room to the living room down stairs. She stepped down the stairs, each making a loud noise as her black boots hit the stairs. She came into the living room and headed towards the door.
"Soul." A woman sitting at the table said. The woman was holding a small teacup. Steam was coming up into the air, which meant she was drinking tea. She set the teacup down and stood her. Her hair rested behind her shoulders, tied neatly in a ponytail. She wore an apron over her long skirt and long sleeve shirt.
Soul stopped dead in her tracks as the woman came in front of her. "Yes, mom?" she said, looking up to her mother's face. Her mother's eyes were a dark chocolate brown. Semi-sweet, but oh so delicious. For the moment, there was kindness written on her expression.
"Night came over."
Soul's eyes widened. It had been a while since her friend had come to her house. "Oh, really? What did he want?" she asked, raising an eyebrow.
"I don't know." She admitted. "He said it was an emergency though. He left pretty quick. I think you should go see what he wants."
Soul nodded, and swerved around her mom. "Alright, I'll go now." She said heading for the door once more. Her bag was completely empty, giving her speed so she could solve this mystery from Night.
"Wait. Soul." Her mother said, stopping her again. "Whatever you do, don't go in the tall grass." Soul nodded slightly. "I mean it."
Soul nodded once more and headed out the door. She shut the door behind her back and began walking up-town. "Wonder what that was about." Soul said to herself, releasing a sigh out of her. She turned to the Night's house and headed over towards the two story house. She cuffed her hand into a fist and brought it up to the door. Right once she thought of knocking, the door flew open. A young boy practically flew out of the door and rammed into her.
"Hey! What was that about?!" yelled the boy. His eyes slid open, and became wide. "Oh, Soul. Sorry 'bout that." He said, standing up and dusting off his shoulder. He put his hand out for Soul to grab it. Soul's hand gripped his as the boy pulled her up to her feet.
"Night, you're so reckless." She said, dusting off her teal and black skirt. "You should watch where you're going."
Night's hand rested against the back of his head. He gave a nervous smile to Soul. "Heh, sorry. I just- Oh! You want to go to the lake with me?" he said, with a large grin across his lips.
Soul thought, adjusting the bag on her shoulder. "Sure!" she replied.
Night's fist flew into the air. "Alright!" he yelled, not as loud as before. "I'll meet you there." He said turning and running towards Route 201. "Don't be late! Or you'll be fined one million yen!" he teased, running off.
Soul giggled at how weird Night could be at some times. "I wonder why he wants to go to the lake so bad?" she asked herself, beginning to walk towards Route 201. "Maybe he saw that report about the Red Gyarados? Or maybe..." Soul stopped and laughed at herself. "No, that can't be." She laughed.
